Final Moments

Chapter VII

Sarada POV
As I walked home I thought of what had happened. "He might think I'm weird now. He many think I'm a creep. He may tell everybody." All these thoughts were going to my head. Boruto why are you so dense. When I arrived at home. I seen my mom was home early. She was making food.

"Hello sweetie" my mom said as she hugged me tight.
"H-Hi Ma-ma"
"Ma-Ma your crushing me" I said trying to breathe.
"Oh I'm sorry" she said while releasing from her deadly hug.
"How was school"
"Awesome!" I said in a cheerful manner.
"Oh why is that, did something happen" my mom said with a grin.
How does she know she wasn't even there.
"Nooothing I just uhhh got ahead of my work in class...yeah yeah that's what happened" I said in a nervous way
"Oh is that so, so you blush at getting work down"
I didn't even notice I was blushing. Then my face got even redder. My mom started to laugh. I didn't even mention what actually happen and I felt she knew.
"You may hate tomatoes but you sure look like one"my mom said laughing
"I don't know what your talking about" I said looking away from her.
"You don't think I have a idea"
"Nope" I shakes my head.
"So nothing happen between you and a certain individual"
"WHAT!! NO! NOTHING HAPPEN BETWEEN ME AND BORUTO!!"
"I never mentioned Boruto's name"my mom said in a sly way.
Dammit now I'm trap I have to find a way out.
"Anyway, why did you come home early"
"Oh so your so avoiding my question, I see, well I will find out sooner or later"
"Oh and I came home early because I'm going to travel to Suna, tomorrow in the afternoon."
"Your leaving, for how long"
"Only a week, so would you like to stay here only or do you want me to drop you off at one of your aunts house?"
"No im fine here alone, I can take care of myself" I said in a confident way.
"Alright then"

We ate grilled fish with rice. We talked for about a hour. Then I went to take a shower and lay down. As I lay there on my bed. That scene kept on playing in my mind. I started to regret that I ran away from him. When I looked at him. He looked lost and confused at what occurred.
"Why doesn't he get the idea" I said to myself as I shut my eyes.

The next day
I woke up early as usual. I didn't my routine of brushing my teeth, showering and eating breakfast. As I walked to school. I notice Chocho walking towards me.
"Hey Chocho" I said with a smile
"Alright let cut to the chase"ChoCho said
"What happen yesterday"
"What do you mean" I said trying to keep a normal face.
"You don't think I don't know" she said.
Drops of sweat ran down my face. My cheeks slowly started to turn dark red.
"Ahh so your playing dumb are you" chocho said with a grin.
Dammit how does she know I swear her and my mom have some sort of ability were they can sense when something is not normal.
"You don't think its odd you stay behind when everyone has left for a certain someone to wake up"
"What no you got it all wrong"
"I stay behind to prepare for the next day" I said trying to avoid eye contact.
"You like him don't you" she said with with a grin evening bigger.
"N-n-n-no I don't like him" I said I could feel my face turning redder the more she questioned it.
"Come on tell me, your my best friend after all and I'll tell you who I like"
"Chocho you have a crush on a new boy every week"
"WHAT!! That's not true"
As we entered the entrance to the academy. I kept looking around to see if I could see him. He was nowhere in sight. The first bell had rang as we made our way to class. I was nervous on what he was going to say to me. I entered class and still no sign of him. I assume he was probably late. I made my way to my desk to only see Mitsuki there. The second bell rang he didn't show up at all. I started to worry. Maybe he's avoiding me. I snapped out of my thought and started to pay attention.

Boruto POV
I woke up 3 in the morning to a pain in my right eye. My vision was weird. I went to go wake up my dad to see what he can do about it.
"Dad"
"Yeah what's going on" he said still with his eyes close.
"My eye is hurting"
"Let me see"
As soon as he seen my eye he jumped up from his bed.
"Let me see"
Naruto's POV
I turned the light on the dresser.
"Wow Ive never seen this before"
I was shocked at what I was looking at.
"Does anyone else knows about this" I ask him.
"No I haven't told anybody"
"Okay don't mentions this to anyone or you be targeted keep this between me and you" I said in a serious tone.
"Alright"
I've never seen a eye like that. I'm going to have to look into this secretly. I can't let anyone know about this yet.

Boruto POV
I walked back to my room. The pain in my right eye was slowly going away. My vision slowly reverted back to it normal state. I then tried to go back to sleep. I tried to shut my eye but I couldn't.
It was 7 in the morning it was time for school. My head was killing me. I seen my dad at the table. He was eating Raman like always.
"Hey dad can I stay home today I'm not feeling well"
"Does your eye still hurt" he said with a concerned look.
"Sort of but I feel like my head in being stabbed." I said
"Yeah get some more rest alright"
"I have to go, if you feeling you need anything, call my office, I'll rush home alright" My dad said as he hugged me.
"Alright dad I'm going to back to bed"
"Alright remember if you need anything Ill come home as quick as possible" my dad said waving goodbye to me as he headed out the door.
I made my way back to my room. I turned off my light and went to bed.
