Final Moments

Chapter XIV

Boruto POV
Once more I was at the cliff. The sun was setting. The man was sitting there. I walked up and sat next to him. My legs hanging off the cliff like his.

"You were going to tell me who you are" I told him.
It was silent until he spoke.

"That is something for you on your own to find out"he said with no emotion.
"Huh"
"One cannot always give you the answers, you must find them yourself"
He stood up and I followed.
He put his hand on my shoulder.
"In order for them to live you must endure the pain"
"It will hurt them all..."
"But it will also saved them all"
He was silent once more. A tear fell from his left eye.
A blue light appeared from his chest.
"Whats happening!?"I started to panicked.
"This will be the last time we are face to face"
He close his eyes.
"You were the one who was given the key to stop these creatures"
He opens his eyes. One eye had the jougan.
"You must not be convince by them"
"They will never be your friends"
"They are all filled with lies"
"Use the jougan to stop them"
"To end their existence"
I felt some pain in my right eye. My vision was blurry. I looked down. Tears falling.
"It's funny"  he said.
"Huh"  I looked back at him. His body started to glow even more. His aura was now yellow with the outline orange. He was like the sun.
"She was right"
"We are so dense"  he smiled
It was the first time I seen him smile. The suffering in his eyes was now gone. The aura took over his body.

The light made me blind. I rubbed my eyes.
...
He was gone.
I was standing on the cliff looking at sunset. I felt relief. I felt happy that this person could now rest. This objective I have to complete.
I looked at my right hand.
I have to end them.
I have to save them all...

"OWW!!"
I woke up to someone jumping on my chest.
"Onii-chan wake up it's time we have to go"
I recognized that voice. It was my little sister.
"Hurry" she said.
"Relax let me get ready"
I looked at the time it was 8:00 am. She was so jumpy.
I went to the restroom, brushed my teeth and washed my face.
I put on what I normally wear. I opened my window. The sky was bright and beautiful. It was fresh outside so I decided to leave my jacket. I went down to the kitchen. Both my parents were there.
"Good morning" I said.
My mother eyes were red. She was still sad over the fact that these were the final days of me being home. My father was also looked down. I just stood there.
It was silent.
*thump* thump*thump*
Someone was coming down stairs. The person jumped on me.
"hurry up" Himawari said.
Her presence brightened the room.
"Where are you guys going" My dad finally spoke.
"Me and big brother are going to spend the morning together"
I looked at my mother to see a smile grow on her face.
"Can we join you guys" my dad said.
"Yes it would make it better" I said with a smile.
"YAAAYY!!" my sister yelled still on my back.
My family was at the door putting there shoes on.
"Hurry up" my sister whined.
"Wait I have to make a call"
I got the phone and called Shikadai.
"Yo"
"Hey man"
"Do you know what time it is" He said tiredly.
"Call up all our friends to meet up at Thunderburger at five"
"Please I have some news"
"Ahhh alright I'll see you at five"
"Thanks bro see you then" I said.
"Later" he said.
I walked out the door with my family.
"Who did you call" my mother ask.
"I called Shikadai"
"I have to break the news to them" I told her.
I put my arm around both my mother and sister. I could hear my mom sobbing.
"Mom don't cry"
"I just can't imagine my baby leaving me"
"It's alright it for the best"
"I'm doing this for the village"
I kiss her head. Her sobbing slowly faded. We went into town.

Hours have passed now. We went from place to place. We first had breakfast together. Then we went to the stores. I could see both my parents faces were cheerful. We took a walked in the park. By the time we were done it was about to reach five.  The sun showing signs of tiredness. I walked back home with my family.

"Ill see you guys in a while I have to meet my friends" I said running to the direction of the burger joint.
"Alright then" my dad said waving.
"Okay be careful" my mother said waving at me.
The more I ran the more I seen my mothers face go from a happy to sad. It devastating seeing mother in this state.

I looked at the clock tower to see I was ten minutes late.
"Dam I'm always late"
I ran as fast as I can. I jumped from roof to roof. I finally reached the joint. I was out of breath. I walked in to see Shikadai, Inojin, Iwabe, Denki, Metal, Mitsuki, and Sarada and her friends. I walked to Shikadai who was saving me a spot. I sat down.
"You invited the girls" I whispered to Shikadai.
"I only told Chocho and you know how she loves to talk" he whispered back.
"So what do you want to tell us" he said
Everyone had their eyes on me.
"Um well" I started to scratch the back of my head.
"I'm leaving"
Everyone was confused.
"What do you mean" Shikadai questioned me.
"I'm leaving with my master for four years for training" I said.
Everyone was shocked at what I just said.
"So I thought we celebrate before I leave" I said
"Yeah let's celebrate for our friend" Iwabe said with his hand on my shoulder.
"YEAH!!" Everyone said.

Sarada POV
What did he say. He's leaving. And with papa. The two men I loved the most are leaving. I tried to not show what I truly felt. So I played along with everyone.

Boruto POV
I thought to myself I can't believe I'm leaving this all behind. I was having such a good time. We talked and laughed.

Hours passed and people started to leave. Denki was the first, then Metal, then Wasabi and Namida left together. They said there goodbyes. The group got smaller and smaller. Night had fallen. We started to walkout the joint. Shikadai and Inojin were on both my sides.
"Dam I can't believe your leaving" Shikadai said.
"Yeah four years with you away"
"Im going to finally relax" said Inojin.
We all started to laugh at what he said.
"So when are you leaving" Shikadai said.
"Well I have one more day left and the following morning Im leaving" I told them.
"Alright we'll see you tomorrow" Shikadai said.
"Yeah later" Inojin said.
"Later" I said.
They both walked the opposite direction I was going to. I jump up to reach the side of the roof until someone grabbed my hand.
"Huh" I looked around to see who was it. It was Sarada. She was alone.
"Oh Sarada what is it" I said.
"So you are leaving with papa" she said.
I stood their quiet. Wait master hasn't told her. What was he waiting for. Then it hit me. He wanted me to break the news to her. Dammit master.
"Yeah he hasn't told you" I tried to avoid I contact with her. I could see she was on the verge of tears.
"Why are you leaving" she said looking down. A tear hit the ground.
Dammit master why are you doing this to me.
"Umm well for several reason" I said
"Why" she said again.
"What" I was confused.
She looked up. There was a waterfall coming each eye. Her eyes were glowing bright red. She grabbed my shirt.
"WHY!!"
"I know your upset that your dad is leaving but-" She interrupted me.
"No why you"
"Why do you have to leave" She hugged me tight.
I was generally confused. She hugged me tighter.
"Sarada calm DOWN" She was squeezing the life.
"Don't leave please" she pleaded.
"Sarada please let go" I said with the last breath I had. I passed out.
