Tobias pov

I didn't want to tell her even though I should have. She deserved to know. But I can't tell her. She will be fine without me, as if I have never existed.

But what if I can't go on without her? She was my only human friend. What have I done?! It's ok I guess. She will forget about me, that's what everyone I know does eventually. I just pack my things. I have to forget about her. People will come and go.

My mother comes through the door.

"Tobias, are you ready?" She asks

"Yes mother, I've been ready for a long time." I smile

"Are you gonna miss this place?" She asks

I look around and this is the place where so much pain occurred. My screams will forever haunt this place.

"No by at all" I say

Mother bites her lip. She goes to her room and grabs bags and other things. I look throughout my house. There's rooms in here that I have never seen. No one is going to hurt me so I let my curiosity take over.

There just rooms. All different sizes but rooms. Nothing new. I go to my parents room and stand in the door way.

"Tobias do you want to come in?" She asks.

I nod. I walk in and look around. It's the same as my room. Then there's fathers stuff. I frown. I run to my room. I grab my stuffed giraffe.

"Tobias, it's time to go." She says.

My room in just like any other room in this house. I look at it with disgust knowing that he had been in here. This will more than likely be one of the first places he looks for us. I hate him

Walking downstairs, mother looks at me. I grin.

She grabs a few bags and I grab the rest. As we go through the door, I look back. I will not miss this.

Then we walk down the street hand and hand never looking back.
