Becoming a Babysitter

I am the single what? I didn't escaped from the boogeyman. My mom saved me!

Anyway, how does she know that? Is she kind of a monster like those or what?

"Well my mom came into my room and-"

"And saw the boogeyman! The boogeyman isn't allowed to be seen by adults." she didn't let me finish. I am kind of impressed. But why did the Grand Guignol came last night? Does he want to kill me? Does he want revenge?

"Am I in danger?" I asked a little bit scared.

"Hey, Liz! Who's the girl?" a chubby boy entered the room. He wasn't very tall. I was taller then him. He wore a blue T-shirt.

So the blonde girl's name is Liz. Cute name.

"She is the girl that killed the boogeyman! What's your name?" Liz asked me.

"I'm Skylar Bell." I said. For some reason my name shocked Liz.

"We were in the same school! I was one year younger. I moved school after my brother.....never mind." whatever happened to her brother I am sorry. Maybe he died or something.

I don't remember her. I guess she didn't bully me. Usually all the people that were talking to me were bullying me. Except for Mira of course!

I still remember the day me and Mira met. I was sitting on a bench. I had a black eye. A kid punched me in the face. Then Mira came. She sat next to me and asked me if I am ok. After that we became best friends.

"Skylar. Skylar!" Liz yelled. I was looking at the ceiling caught in my memories. "Are you ok?" she asked.

"Yes, I'm fine." I paused still thinking about the day I met Mira. "So do you have a book about the boogeyman?"

"Yes I do, but only one and you can't use it." said Liz.

"Why not?" why can't I use it? I mean my mom made the boogeyman go away after all.

"Because you are not a babysitter." I have to be a babysitter to use the book? I think she is talking about the book in the middle of the room. The book is big. Maybe it has like 1000 pages. "The book is just for babysitters. If you are not a babysitter you can't use it!" well I guess I have to be a babysitter then!

***At Home***
Ok how do I become a babysitter?

Well first of all I need to find a kid that needs a babysitter. I remember my mom said her friend wants to go to the mountains this weekend. Maybe her friend has a child.

I go downstairs to see if my mom's car is in front of the house. It isn't. Which means I am home alone. I look at the clock. It's 5 p.m. My mom is coming home at 7 so I can search on Google people that need babysitters until she is home.

I take my laptop and run upstairs. Instead of searching for pro that need babysitters I search my  school. I want to find Liz's last name. I hope I can still find her. After 5 minutes I found her. Liz Lerue. I search her name on google. The single thing I found was about a boy called Kevin Lerue, Liz's brother. "A boy called Kevin Lerue was kidnapped in the middle of the night. His older sister Liz Lerue says he was taken by the Grand Guignol. Nobody knows who he is."
