In Love With The Grand Guignol

Flashbacks

"Sky, I need to ask you something very important..." he paused. I looked in the Grand Guignol's eyes. If you look close enough you can see ghost in them, it's a little bit scary. "Do you want to be my partner?"

"Yes! Of course!" I am so happy! Now I can help him.

"Good! I want you to watch over my toadies on the Halloween night, but be careful! Liz may come and I don't want her to see you." I nodded. He is looking at me. He is worried.

"I'll be fine!" I said. He smiled.

"Put this necklace on when Liz or somebody else is coming."

***Three Days Before Halloween***
There are just three days until Halloween night. I know the weeks went by really quick. The Grand Guignol spent a lot of time with me. I teached him a lot of human things, he doesn't even know how to buy something at the store, and he teached me a lot about monsters and stuff. He didn't t know what Christmas is so I told him.

***Flashback***
"I want to spend the Christmas with you. We will make a Christmas tree and we will put blue lights in it. This Santa Clause guy will come and bring us ,well probably just you, the biggest present he can find! We will watch those romantic movies you were talking about and we will eat snacks! Doesn't this sound fun?" the Grand Guignol said.

***Present***
I told him about cinemas and malls and all the fun stuff you can do in the city. I told him about school, he didn't liked it. He promised me that after Halloween we will do everything.

***Flashback***
"We will go shopping and do everything you said!" the Grand Guignol said.
"Promise?"
"Promise!"

***Present***
He also told me about his life. It sounded horrible! His dad always told him to be the best person.His dad never told him what to do. He wanted the Grand Guignol to be a good person, he told him to be kind and honest and brave. I suppose the boogeyman wasn't a bad guy after all. Then he died when the Grand Guignol was ten. His older sister always told him to be bad and to kill me, she thinks that her father died because of me.

***Flashback***
"I miss my dad... He wasn't a monster, he was just misunderstood I suppose." I looked at the Grand Guignol, tears are forming in his eyes. It's the first time I see him cry.

"I'm sorry..." I said and hugged him tight. I feel like it's just my fault...or my mom's. Tears were forming in my eyes too, but I stayed strong.

"It's not your fault. He got poisoned three years after that incident and that's why he died."

***Present***
My mom and dad divorced, that's why he was away. My mom called me four days ago to tell me.

***Flashback***
"Your dad wants you to go with him. It's just your choice, honey." I was still shocked. My mom and dad had been married for twenty years and now my dad suddenly wants a divorce?

"I don't want to go anyway with that idiot!" I screamed at the phone. "Sorry!"

"It's ok, but if you don't want to go with him you have to stay home, with me." she said. I agreed to go to her for two days and then to leave again.

She hung up after that. I started crying. I turned around and the Grand Guignol was there. I ran and hugged him. He kissed my forehead.

"It's going to be ok!" he whispered.

***Present***
One time I went to the beach with the Grand Guignol. It wasn't far from his house.

We went there one night. I wanted to see the dolphins in the morning. All night we watched the stars and swam.

***Flashback***
"Is that your tail?" I asked. Did I forget to mention that he has a tail? Anyway, something was tickling my leg.

"Umm..no?" he said.

We both looked dow and saw three dolphins. They were small, I suppose they were babies. Not long after that a bigger dolphin came. The four dolphins left and i looked at the Grand Guignol.

"I love you, Sky!"
