Chapter 37.

~Jo's POV~
I'm kind of scared/excited about what Matt's going to tell me. I'm not sure if it's going to be good or bad so I don't know what to expect. I dialed Matt's number and called him. He picked up on the 2nd ring and I sighed.
"Hey what's up?" I asked
"Uhm well we have some good news and some bad new but I'm going to need you to get here asap" he said
"But what about Amanda?" I asked
"Oh yeah uhm, take her to Aaron's hotel room across the street for now. I'm not sure how long you are going to be gone so hurry like you need to be here in less than 10" Matt said and I nodded
"Okay got it see you in like 5 bye" I said as I quickly hung up. I ran into the living room where amanda was still sleeping. I picked her up without waking her. I put my phone in my pocket and grabbed the key. I locked the door and ran out to sams car. I put amanda in her car seat and strapped her in. I closed the door and got in the front seat. I started driving when Amanda woke up.
"Mommy where are we going" she said
"I'm dropping you off at uncle Aaron's for a bit I have to see your other uncles real quick" I said
"Oh okay" she said and I drove to Aaron's hotel. I grabbed Amanda and ran inside. I told the lady who's hotel room I needed and she told me the number.
"Thank you" I said and ran to the elevator. I went to the 2nd floor and ran to Aaron's room. I opened the door and he was sitting on his laptop on the bed. I walked in and handed Amanda to aaron.
"Aaron I need you to watch Amanda for a little while I gotta see the guys at their meeting something's wrong. K thanks love you" I said fastly and kissed him on the cheek. I ran out and back to the car. I drove to the building where the guys meeting was and ran inside. I told the guy who I was and ran into the room. I opened the door and matt ran over to me. He hugged me tightly.
"What's wrong" I asked
"Sam..he had some type of diabetic attack and fainted. The hospital is here but
He won't leave without you" he said and my eyes started tearing up.
"Where is he" I asked and matt pointed to a room across the hall. I ran in and sam was laying on the floor. I ran over to him and kissed his cheek.
"What happened?" I asked and the doctor looked at me.
"Oh well it looks like sam wasn't paying attention and his blood sugar was too low and he fainted. He woke up but he would leave without his girlfriend which I'm guessing is you" the doctor said and I nodded.
"Let's go sam it's gonna be okay" I said and he nodded. I helped him up and onto the bed the doctors brought. We walked him out and into the ambulance. On the way there sam had fainted again. We drove to the hospital and checked him in. We took him into a room where the doctors hooked him up to this machine thingy. They measured his blood sugar and looked at me.
"Is he going to be okay?" I asked
"He will be okay. He just has to rest for a while and when he wakes up just give him some water. We will have to keep track of his blood sugar for about a week until he can take control of it again" he said
"Uhm I will have to tell his friends that because him and my friends will be going to Texas for the week" I said
"No you are going to have to stay with him and make sure he takes care of himself" the doctor said
"But I have my friends baby to take care of" I said
"Well your going to have to give her to someone and go with your friends" he said
"But I ca-" I was interrupted by the doctor being a bit rude.
"No exceptions" he said and I sighed.
"There will be another doctor in here in a few and he is going to be asking a couple questions about sam" he said as he walked out.
"Well that was rude" i whispered and looked at sam. He laid there sleeping and i kissed his forehead.
"Its going to be okay babe i promise" i said and another doctor walked in. He looked at me and smiled. I smiled back and he took out his paper from a folder. He cleared bis throat and looked at me.
"Okay i just have a couple question about sam that i need you to answer. Now i know you arent him obviously so if you dont know the answer thats 100% fine we can just ask him when he wakes up" he said and i nodded.
"Okay whats his first and last name?" He asked
"Samuel Pottorff" i said an he wrote it down.
"Birthday?"
"October 19, 1995. Hes 19 right now" i said and he nodded.
"Okay do you know what type of diabetes he has?" He asked.
"Type 1" i said
"When was he diagnosed?"
"When he was 5" i said
"Okay uhm that's all for now. How long do you plan on staying here with him?" The doctor asked
"Until he's able to go back home" I said
"Okay well I'm going to check up on him in about a half hour but if he wakes up before that just press the Botton next to you and there will be a doctor here in the matter of 2 minutes" he said and I nodded. He walked out and I looked at sam. I watched him sleep for about 10 minutes before he started to wake up. His eyes opened slowly as I held his hand.
"Sam?" I asked and his eyes opened all the way. I smiled as he looked around.
"Wait, where am I?" He asked
"Your in the hospital sam. You weren't paying attention to your blood sugar and you passed out. I just have one question" I asked and he sat up. He quickly put his hand on his head in pain.
"Why does my head hurt so much" he asked and I stood up. I laid down next to him and and laid down.
"Just lay down with me. You might have a headache for a while" I said and he nodded.
"So Sam, do you remember anything that happened earlier?" I asked and he shook his head.
"You don't remember anything?" I asked
"Nope" he said
"Do you want me to tell you what happened?" I asked and he nodded.
"Well, according to matt you and the guys were eating like a lot of sugar and stuff and you weren't paying attention to your blood sugar and you passed out. You woke up when the ambulance got there. Matt texted me to call him and said that I had to be there quick so I dropped amanda off at Aaron's and I drove there. When I got there you were laying on the ground surrounded my doctors. I ran over and asked them what happened. They told me and said that we had to go. And they also said that you said you wouldn't leave without me so that's why matt texted me" I said
"Oh. I feel kinda bad making you go through all that with amanda and stuff and rushing over just for me" he said
"Nahh it's okay. I probably would have done the same" I said and he smiled.
"I love you" he said
"I love you too, but I have to tell a doctor that you woke up so I can take you home" I said and he nodded. I got up and pushed the little botton. A doctor came in and saw that sam woke up.
"Okay sam, just lay flat and I'm going to adjust the bed so you don't have to sit up" the doctor said as he pressed a Botton that made the bed go up where his head was. He just laughed during the whole thing. I smiled and shook my head. He's so childish I swear. The doctor walked over to the monitor and looked at Sams blood rate. It was normal but his blood sugar was still a little low.
"Okay Sam it seems as if you haven't been getting insulin shots lately is that true?" The doctor asked
"I haven't in a couple days no" sam said
"Well we will have to give you a few and then in about a half our after it if your feeling okay you can go home" the doctor said and sam nodded.

Hey sorry for the shortish chapter I'm just really busy today but I wanted to finish this for you guys.
