"OMG! Rich, I still can't believe you are a diehard Stephen Curry fan! Impressive that you flew to Boston and spent your dollars for us to be here. I can't imagine what my week-long vacation will be like with you!" Mara talked to Rich as they walked to their seats in the garden.
Rich was all smiles as he paraded through the groups of basketball fans and told Mara, "Just sit back, relax and enjoy the showgirl! You got nothing to lose! You have me for a week all-expense paid trip! So stay here, and I'll get us some drinks."
Mara is not a sports fan, but she isn't clueless at all. And as Rich said, she'd got nothing to lose. So she is going to have the best free vacation of her life.
"Thank God the game is about to start. For the love of my BFF Rich, I will endure the noise and take pictures for him." Mara started snapping pictures.
Mara realized that wearing a mask was the new normal now. She's fascinated to see all the NBA fans wearing the same jerseys and chanting the exact words, even though they don't know each other.
Suddenly, a guy in full Curry NBA uniform stood before her. She would have gotten Stephen Curry's shots perfectly if not for him. Mara thought she could crop the guy or cut him off from the pictures. But she finds him annoying because he is tall and moving too much, covering her angles.
Then the guy in front of him yelled at her. "Excuse me, Miss! Please stop taking pictures. Please delete the ones you have already taken! "
Mara just looked at him while taking pictures and murmuring to herself.
This guy is annoying! After covering my view, he wants to stop me from taking pictures! What an annoying jerk! Tall, skinny, and ah! A real jerk!
Unable to take clear shots of the NBA stars on the court, Mara yelled back to the guy in front of her. "Excuse me, mister; you are blocking my view! I also paid to see the game!"
"You can keep taking pictures of my back since you won't stop. Even when I tell you nicely to stop taking pictures, you still keep doing it!" yelled back the guy.
Nicely my foot! Goodness! All the pictures I have now been his back. As if you are a Hollywood star treating me like paparazzi. Mara said to herself while making a mocking face towards the guy.
"Hey, girl! I got our snacks! I'm so excited the game has already started! Did you have the picture of my idol?" asked Rich.
"He is so annoying! I only got pictures of his back! I can't take him anymore!" said Mara in a loud voice, wanting to ensure that the guy in front was hearing what she was saying.
Rich looked at Mara and asked, "What is with your face, girl? Let me see the pics you have taken? What are these? Do you have a thing for a man's back view? In fairness, this back is to die for!"
"What do you mean to die for? That annoying jerk covered my view. That's why! I will confront him, so he will stop covering us. Let me talk to this annoying one!" Mara shouted as she started walking towards the guy in front.
Rich, realizing trouble, followed Mara while talking to her. "Where are you going, girl? Don't bother. The game has started."
But Mara is unstoppable; she walked faster. "I will just give this guy a piece of my mind, so he will know what he is looking for!"
