As a child I was a bochi ,which, in Japanese means lonely.
I had no friends that I carried from my kindergarten school to my elementary school. Not because I started early as an disappointment but because of the school, let's say algorithm, my friends didn't ended up being in the same section. Which was all of them, all three of them. I guess, the school deliberately did so. As an attempt to make us more "social". Well, we know how that turned out. Fast forward into the future, hi it's me, enjoying my quarantine.
In a new academic year, there, I sat in my lonely bench with my lonely aura in a lonely classroom until I spotted a similar grey cloud. By now, I, in my tiny pea sized brain was able to remember faces if not names and she, was an unfamiliar one.
I don't know where I summoned the courage but I was the one to initiate the first hello which I will now demonstrate in a one act play.

             Best friends?
Aye: ^^

And that's how kids I met your mother.
I mean my best friend that I made solely on the fact that we happen to be born on the same day. Childhood friendship could not get any simple than that.

Also, in college
Girl 1: hey do you have a pen
Girl 2: yes take mine
I guess we are friends now?
3 years later
Damn right we are.
