One Month Later
Brylee is twenty four weeks and today we find out what we are having a boy or a girl.
"What do you want the baby to be a boy or a girl?" Bry ask and I look up from the book I'm reading
"I don't care as long as its healthy" I say and she smiles at me
"I want a girl so I can dress her up but a boy would be good to so if we do have a girl they can look after her." She says and goes back to drawing
"Yeah girls can be a lot of work" I say and she gasps and looks up from her iPad
"How would you know your a guy" she says
"Because I have a little sister and a mom and a girlfriend" I say and grab her hand
"But I would love to have a girl with you" and I kiss her lips and lean away and we go back to doing our thing till the doctor's appointment.
Doctors appointment
"Okay Brylee raise up your shirt for me and we can see your baby" Dr.Martin says and Bry does what she was asked to do.
The doctor squirts that gel stuff on her stomach and moves the wound around on her belly and soon we are looking at our baby.
"Do you guys want to know the gender still?"Dr.Martin ask and we both nod our heads and she clicks some buttons on the screen.
"Congratulations it's a boy" I lean down and kiss Brylee on her forehead and look in her eyes to find tears.
"I'll give you guys a minute" The doctor says and walks out of the room.
"We are having a boy" Brylee whispers and kiss the back of her hand
"Yeah I'm so happy" I says and Brylee smiles at me and leans up and I meet her half way and we kiss. Soon the doctor comes back in and ask Brylee some questions and then we leave.
Later That Night
As we lay on the couch in our room I look over at Brylee.
"We need to think of names for him" I say and she nods her head
"Yeah I know. Do you have any ideas?"she ask and turns to give me her full attention
"Um what about Axel?" I ask and she thinks for a second
"Maybe what about Ryker?" She ask I like it so I nod my head
"I like it so thats his name then?" I ask and she smiles and looks at me and nods her head.
"Yeah I guess so that was easy" she says
"Then it was meant to be" I say and we share a kiss and go back to our movie and we spend the entire night like this and then we fall asleep.
Two Weeks Later
Today's the day Jo is throwing Brylee a baby shower so I'm helping set up some stuff while she sleeps it's getting hard for her to sleep at night.
Riley walks in the living room and helps hangs some streamers
"Hey Riley" I say and he looks up at me
"I wanted to talk to you about something" I say and he nods his head
"Go ahead" he says and I take a shakey breath
"I wanted to ask for your permission to marry Brylee" I ask and hold my breath for his answer
"Okay I give you permission to marry my little sister you make her happy that's all I want for her" he say and we go back to setting up the living room. Now I just have to plan and find the perfect place.
