Luz POV:
I woke up to hearing sounds of panic next to me. Wait...AMITY! I quickly turn over and see you crying and breaking into a cold sweat. "Am? Am wake up," I start tearing up myself, I don't know what to do! I wrap my arms around her and hug her tight trying to wake her up, "Am please wake up I'm worried," she struggled in my arms. I feel so bad, what am I supposed to do? "Dad no!" She whimpers. I shake her a little still trying to wake her up.
Her eyelids squeeze together as she slowly wakes up. "Oh my god Am are you ok?" I squeeze her harder as she cries into my shoulder. I let her calm down for a minute before asking what was wrong. "It's just a bad dream," she buried her head deeper into my chest. I bet she can feel my heart beating, it was speeding up by the second. "Do you want to talk about it?" I really wanted to know what was going on. "Well," she looks up into my eyes. We are so close, my face is probably bright red, hopefully she can't see in this darkness. "It's just...my dad he used to hit me every time I messed up...even if I just dropped a dish I would get whacked across the face with a belt or the back of my dad's hand," she continues.
"You're safe now Am, I'll always protect you, I may not have fancy magic like a real witch but I'd never let something happen to someone I l- I mean a close friend," that was a dumb thing to say, great job Luz, I bonked myself on the head. "Why'd you do that," Amity giggled through her tears. "Don't worry about it, just get some sleep k?" I rest my hand over hers and she tenses up a bit at the contact. "Good night Blight- hey that rhymed!" I laugh "you're odd Noceda, I like that about you," she giggles in response. My face is heating up. "Don't act like you aren't," I chuckle resting my chin on top of her head and falling asleep.
Did I just put ten minutes into 413 words? Yes. I'm tired so I made this lil snip bit of like a nightmare or whatever lol. I was supposed to have more in this chapter but decided to just leave this here because I wanted to get the next chapter out quick. ALMOST AT 500 READS!!!! LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!/$:&&3$3$/&3&
