Sweet Dreams

After the guests left we all went back inside, still exited over the fact that Edward and I were now officially a couple. This was my first real relationship (I almost had one back from where I came, but the guy cheated on me with two other we girls before we were even official) and I promised myself that I would always be true to him and him only for as long as I live. This to was Edwards first relationship, even thought he didn't have any experience with women yet, which was pretty cute. 

"Congratulations Ed, you have your self a fine girl." Mr. Mike completed.

"Thank you, I love her more than anything."

"As you should."

"We want to get married someday."

"That's fine, very fine. Well its getting late I suppose we'll talk more tomorrow then."

I walked Edward to his room, he gave me a kiss on the tip of my nose. I giggled and kissed him back and went down stairs to my bed, where fell fast asleep thinking about my sweet man. A few hours later I was awoken to the ear piercing sound of Kim screaming at the top of her lungs. Eminently I flew up stairs and saw poor Edward soaking wet, I got him a robe and had him come down stairs, after he was settled I went to go talk to Kim.

"Good lord Kim! What happened?!"

"June June you won't believe it! There was a man in my bed and he had knives ready to kill me!!!"

"Oh Kim, quit being a drama queen your fine."

"Fine!? He almost killed me!"

Just then Mrs. Peg came into the room where we were talking.

"June Lets go introduce Kim to Edward ok."

We all went back down stairs to see Edward ,who was sitting at Mr. Mikes small bar, with an empty glass of guises in front of him.

"Edward this is our daughter Kim, Kim this is Edward who is going to live with us." 

Edward tried to say something but was shaking like a leaf, he glanced up at us and collapsed on the flor.

"Edward are you ok?" I asked while cupping his face.

"Mr. Mike what did he drink?"

"Just some guises, though it would help him. He'll be ok."

"Well seeing as he popped your bed Kim, I guess he'll have to stay with you June. Is that ok?" Mrs. Peg asked.

"Oh yes that will be just fine." 

After the three of them went up stairs I worked on getting Edward into bed.

"Love are you alright?" I said as we sat down on my bed.

"That didn't taste good June." He said in a shaky voice.

"I'm sorry sweetheart, well lets try and get some sleep now ok?"

"Ok."

I had him lay next to me, I lay on the other side. It was silent at first, till I remedied that.

"Edward do you wanna cuddle with me?"

"Cuddle?"

"Yeah, here move your hands like this," I placed his hands up for a moment as I moved close to him.

"Is this ok with you?"

"Yes I like it."

I gently rested my head on his warm chest, then I looked up at him. Our eyes met and he moved in for a kiss and I kissed him back. It was sweet and gentle, after we broke the kiss I again laid back down on him as we drifted off to sleep...........

(June dreaming)

"YOU CAN NEVER BE YOUR OWN PERSON! YOUR A DISGRASE! YOU SHOULD BE LOCKED UP WITH THE LOONIES!!!! Her mother shouted as June as struggled in her fathers grasps as he squeezed her wrist tightly.

"Please don't hurt me." June cried.

"HURT YOU!? HURT YOU!? WHEN HAVE WE EVER HURT YOU JUNE?!" Her mother continued to scream.

"EVERYTHING YOU LIKE IS SHIT!!!! YOU HEAR ME SHIT!!!!! Her father shouted as he slammed her onto the hard part on her bed.

"No please no........."

"June are you ok?" I heard Edwards soft voice ask.

"Oh Edward, I'm sorry did I wake you?" I sniffled through the tears running down my face.

"No, were you having a bad dream?"

"Yes, yes I was sweetheart." I said trying to muster up a smile.

"Would you like to get some warm milk?"

"That would be great Edward."

We went up sitars again and made ourselves some warm milk and sat on the couch and began to sip our hot drinks.

"What was your dream about June?" Edward asked in a shaky voice.

"Its ok dear, no need to be scared," I could feel myself tearing up, "well its just that.......Oh Edward my life before I came here was a living nightmare! My parents.....*sniff*.....they hated me.....I just-I just wasn't like them...*sniff*..... and they did not like that.....they hurt me Edward...*sniff*...in more ways than one....ways that no one can see on the outside.....*sniff*.....I don't know what I did to deserve such treatment...." At this point I was just balling my eyes out.

"You didn't deserve it June, your so beautiful, smart and kind. And I promise that I will protect you as long as I live, no one is going to hurt you ever as long as I'm around."

We both stood up and gazed into each others eyes. "You really mean that?"

"Yes I do, I love you."

"Hold me." I said with tears in my eyes.

"...I can't." Edward said to me with a sad look. I gently raised his hands as I placed my arms around him. He soon adjusted and rested his cheek on my head and wrapped his arms around me, pulling me close to his warmth. Never in my life had I been hugged like that before, he's just so perfect.
