Why Would It Be Different

I wake up being held by someone and feeling them run. My eyes widen and I see Iida "Ah!" I wiggle in shock and he drops me. "Shinsou! I didn't think you were going to wake up." He offers me his hand and I take it and stand.

I turn and see Denki, Aizawa and Eri run up to us. "Shinsou are you okay?" Denki looks worried and Eri wraps around my legs. "Yeah I'm fine." I rub my temples still suffering from a headache. "Are you sure?" I nod but Aizawa sees through my act "Why don't you go home and take Denki and Eri with you, You guys have the rest of the day off." We all nod and collect our stuff.

We are almost to the house and I shift Eri to my other arm for what feels like the 100th time because she was tired and now she's sleeping. This headache is killing me. I stumble but catch myself and readjust Eri. "Hey do you want me to take her?" I nod no but stumble again and before I know it Denki is in front of me and holding me up. He takes Eri and puts her on his back. I straightened and tried to take her back but he moved further away. I give up on trying and just focus on staying upright.

We finally make it home and we both go in. "So this is what your house looks like." Since he's distracted I snatch Eri off his back and walk to my room. I walk in and carefully place her on the bed and tuck her in.

I come back out quietly to see Denki sitting on the couch. "Wanna watch a movie?" I nod and sit next to him. He picks out a movie called Detective Pikachu and starts it. I feel myself nodding off and force myself back awake. "Hey you can sleep you know." I rub my eyes sleepily "But I can't because Chisaki might punish me."

I stop mid yawn, realizing what I just said. Denki looks shocked but then wraps me in a hug and I blush but sink into his sweatshirt. "You remember my promise?" I nod sleepily and he whispers in my ear "I will never break it." I blush even more but don't even care at this point because I'm starting to drift off. He's so warm and comfy and I feel...safe.

When I wake up I feel a weight on top of me and I'm very comfy. I lay there enjoying the warmth until I feel something shift and I open my eyes and see Denki. Oh shoot I fell asleep on him. I start blushing furiously and hear him say

"Hey you're awake." I sit up and rub my eyes "Uh yeah sorry I fell asleep on you." I rub the back of my neck nervously "It's fine, how's your head?" My headache has dulled to a small pain "Better." I get up and walk to my room and check on Eri. She's still sleeping so I close the door and come back out to where Denki is. "So what do you want to do?"

Eventually Aizawa and Mic came home as we were in the middle of a game of Mario Kart. "Where's Eri." I point to the bedroom and get up to stretch. "Hey Denks wanna go for a walk." He looks at me in shock at the nickname and Aizawa and Mic share a knowing glance but I just put my shoes and a sweatshirt on and walk out.

After a few minutes Denki comes out behind me. "What was that about?" I just shrug and start walking and he runs to catch up. "Hey, what's the matter." I just ignore him. I can't believe I had to fall for a loud blond. I might not even see him again after I go back into the system. He probably doesn't like me because who would, I have a villainous quirk and nobody wants me.

"Hey earth to Shinsou!" He waves his hand in front of my face and I blink and snap myself out of my thoughts. "Huh? Sorry." He laughs "Wow dude you were fully dazed out, I asked where are we going?" I look around and realize that I was subconsciously walking through the forest to my hiding space. The place I went when I needed a break from people.

I continue to weave through the first and eventually it opens up into a field. The field has sunflowers, my favorite flower. Denki's eyes go wide "Wow how did you find this place?" I walk into the middle and take a deep breath, letting it calm me down. The edge of my headache loosens and it feels like I can breathe properly.

I open my eyes not realizing I had closed them and see Denki doing something with the flowers. "Hey what are you doing?" He winds them together until they resemble a crown and then he puts it on his head. I blush because he looks really cute and looks away so he doesn't see me.

"Hey Shin do you want one?" I debate saying know but then something is plopped on my head. It falls over my eyes and I push it back up so it's out of my face. I smile and Denki's smile gets even brighter after seeing he made me happy.

We spend the rest of the day fooling around in the field until it gets dark. The sun sets and the stars come out and I grab Denki and lay down in the middle of the field. He lays down next to me and we watch the stars. I feel him shivering so I take my sweatshirt off and give it to him. "But won't you be cold?" I shake my head and give it to him.

After watching the stars I get an idea and stand up, also pulling Denki to his feet. He seems surprised at how excited I am. "What is it Shin?" I put my hands on his waist and put his around my shoulders. He seems to understand and both of us start to move.

I spin him away from me and then spin him closer. I hold him close and time seems to stop and it's like we're the only ones in the world. "Hey Denks..." He holds on to my arms wrapped around him. "Yeah?" I take a shaky breath. Here we go. "Um I-I like you." He freezes and then lets go of my arms and pulls away from me. I freeze thinking he's going to leave until he grabs my shirt and pulls me into a kiss. There I am kissing the most amazing boy in the world, Denki Kaminari under the stars.

Eventually we both pull away and Denki starts to apologize "I'm sorry I should have as-" I put my finger to his lips. "I take it the feeling is mutual?" He nods. "Well Denki, will you do me the honor of being my boyfriend." He nods excitedly and we kiss again before finally heading back to the house holding hands.
