The End

The next day it's a Saturday and I wake up in my bed not remembering how I got there. I go downstairs to see Aizawa and Mic talking about something but when they see me they stop talking. "Good morning." I simply wave back to them. "What were you guys talking about?" They exchange a look. "Nothing." I give them a skeptical look and get ready for school.

When I get to school I can't stop thinking about that morning. What were they talking about? They never hide things from me? Are they kicking us out? Class starts and I try my hardest to focus. After school I ask Mr.Aizawa if Denki can come over and he agrees and smiles at me. But he never smiles?

Denki and I go for a walk with Eri. We wander in the park until Eri spots an ice cream kart. "What's ice cream?" Denki and I laugh a little "Let me show you." We walk over to the kart and buy three ice cream cones. Denki got caramel, I got coffee and I got Eri a coconut one. She takes a taste and looks at us with wide eyes. Her wide smile and innocent eyes are enough to make anybody happy.

After we all finish our ice cream we wander around a bit longer before heading back home. When we come through the door Aizawa and Mic are in the kitchen looking excited about something. "Hey how was the walk?" I see Aizawa and he still has a smile on his face "It was good." I say with suspicion in my voice.

Eri runs to our room and Denki and I sit on the couch. "Hey Shinsou, Eri could you come here?" Eri comes out of our room and we both head to the table and Denki waves goodbye because he has to go. I give him a hug and kiss and tell him I'll see him tomorrow.

I sit at the table with Aizawa and Mic with Eri on my lap. What if they don't want us anymore. Will we be separated? What if we get another bad adoptive parent? Aizawa clears his throat and I look up. He hand me a box and I take it hesitantly. They give me a little nod to open it so I slowly open the top.

There are papers inside and I take them out and start to read the first one. I see at the top in bold letters Report of Adoption. I drop the papers and one of my hands shoots to my mouth. I manage to form a few words with a shaky voice "I-Is it true?" Mic and Aizawa nod enthusiastically. I feel tears fall down my face. "What was it Shinsy? What's wrong?" I look at her and realize she has no idea what's going on.

"Eri we're getting adopted by them. We get to stay." She looks confused "But Shinsy why are you crying?" I look at her and try to wipe the tears but they keep coming. "I'm not sad Eri. I'm so so happy." Her eyes shoot open and she jumps out of my lap and gives Aizawa a big hug around the legs. Aizawa looks surprised but bends down to her level and she says something that melts my heart. "Thank you for making my brother happy, he deserves it."

Aizawa looks up at me "Well if he'll have us." I nod aggressively and run over and hug him. He seems surprised but then hugs me back and then I feel Mic and Eri join in the hug. Family.

(Sorry for a quick ending but I was out of ideas and thought this was a good way to end it. I hope you all enjoyed the short story and I'm sure I'll be writing another story so I'll see you then. If you have any requests for a story I will gladly write it)
