Do you ever just feel yourself starting to get stressed or worked up during the day? Because Lord knows I do. Sometimes, taking a moment to myself and just getting that fresh air can make a world of difference. Eventually after we learn to do this, perhaps we would see the world in the same colors as everyone else, in the same light, and in the same way that birds always seem to be singing. It is tough and it takes time to learn how to cope with stress, and the every day struggles. Feeling your lungs yearn for that fresh air they feel so deprived of can be concerning, and can add more stress onto your already full plate.
Taking yourself away from any situation for just a moment can help a lot. When you're feeling torn apart because your brain is sending millions of signals to every part of your body, telling you to keep moving, when sometimes all our heart wants is to stop for just a moment and be able to breathe, you must remember that stress is only a state of mind. It has no power over you, or the way you think if you have the right mindset over it.
Everyone reacts different to different situations, and once you learn how you react, the transformation to countering it may begin. The world can seem brighter sometimes, you may notice how not many people really appreciate the sky and its vast emptiness. I always try to be like the resilient grass that we see every day, but that no one pays any mind to. People stomp on grass all day long, and the grass always seems to just perk right back up, as if nothing had ever happend and everything was right as rain. Even when it hits a tough spot in winter and dies down a bit, it still comes back better, and brighter every year. It is awe inspiring, and truly something to marvel at. I suppose my piece of advice to you is think like the grass, be like the grass, and live like the grass.
