~The End of Something~
The heart rate monitor beeped slowly. It was every few seconds. It was extremely slow. Ivy's chest was going up and down slowly, and she was the only person in the quiet, secluded room. The hospital had pronounced her dead, and the Hargreeves family had to leave her there.
But, Sir Reginald Hargreeves knew what he was doing. He had snuck back into the hospital and taken her back, put her on life support, and then gave her the most blood he could. He got the bullets out of her, and basically saved her life.
Back at Elliott's, the room was quiet. They'd just argued over JFK and the Commission, but they were silent again. None of them knew what to say. The person who looked the worst was Five. He was just staring at one spot, and kept flashing back to the moment he watched her fall to the ground. How all he heard was her labored breathing. Watching her eyes close. He couldn't stop thinking about those final moments.
"Are we at least going to talk about the more important thing here?" Luther asked, trying to ease the tension. No one wanted to answer the question, not really daring to even say anything with Five in the room.
"Why... Why would anyone want to kill Ivy?" Vanya asked, Five screwing his eyes shut. He spatial jumped away from them, everyone staring at where he was.
"Klaus, any success so far?" Allison asked, taking a deep breath.
"No," he answered. "As much as I'm trying to reach out to her, she has to reach out to me, too." Vanya looked to the door as she could hear Five silently in the hallway, her heart pounding.
"Who's going to go talk to him?" Diego asked.
"It's not like drawing straws, Diego. He lost the only person who's ever actually loved him," Allison snapped at her brother. "He deserves to feel this way." Vanya walked to the apartment door, all of them watching her. She opened it slowly, Five glancing at her. He quickly wiped the tears from his face, Vanya shutting the door again. She sat down next to him on the steps, Five staring forward.
"Klaus get anything yet?" Five asked, clearing his throat.
"No," Vanya told him. "But he'll let us know as soon as he does." Five nodded once, intertwining his hands in front of him. "Five, it's okay to cry." He looked over at her, not having a witty comeback at the moment. "You lost the person you love most in the whole world. It's okay to cry about it." Five nodded once, biting his lip as it was quivering and threatening to break again.
"I... I just," he took a deep breath, tears leaking from his eyes. "I didn't get to hear... her say she l-loved me one last t-time." He took a deep breath, trying to keep it together for just a few more moments. "Or that I didn't change the math when I sent the other me back. And... I didn't get to hear her say she loved me. I'll never hear her say it again." He covered his mouth as the realization hit him. "I'll never get to hear her say she loves me again."
Five broken down then, Vanya pulling him into her side. He cried into her shoulder, Vanya nodding slowly as the tears leaked from her eyes too. For her, the most recent memories she had of Ivy were trying to murder her or not knowing who she was. So she felt a pain inside that she never got to apologize to her sister for what she did.
So they sat there together and cried about Ivy. Neither of them having a clue she wasn't even gone.

The heart rate monitor sped up, Ivy's eyes slowly fluttering open to the sound of crackling fire. She saw she was in front of a fireplace, and she turned her head to see where. She tried to sit up, but it hurt to do anything. She blinked a couple of time before removing the breathing tube from her mouth. She could breathe fine on her own, and eventually sat up in bed. She pulled the gown up to find the three bullet wounds in her stomach were patched up, and had small splotches of blood stains on the bandage.
"Fireplace, how hilarious, Five," Ivy muttered. She pushed the sheets off of her body, stumbling to the clothes sitting on the bench. She balanced herself on the wall, pulling the gown off her body. She pulled the cotton off the first bullet wound, placing two fingers against it. She sealed the wound with a burn, then repeated the process for the next two. "Swear to god, I'm going to kill-" The door opened, Ivy turned to see someone she didn't expect to see. "Dad."
"Correct," he said. Ivy realized she'd taken off the gown, and quickly pulled on a shirt and some pants from the bench.
"What - ow - what are you doing here?" she asked, slowly sitting on the bench to put on shoes and her boots. That had blood on them.
"I took you from the hospital," he told her. "You were pronounced dead. Your siblings seemed quite torn up about the news."
"What?" Ivy asked, looking over at him. "They all think I'm dead?"
"Yes," Reginald asked. "And if you were wise, it's going to stay that way."
"I don't think so," Ivy said. She pushed herself up from the bench, looking over at Reginald. "My siblings need me."
"No, they don't," Reginald said with a small smile. "They'll do just fine on their own."
"Look, I don't know what your obsession with me is, but this isn't funny. I'm going back to my family, which isn't you," Ivy told him. She tried walking to the door, but he was able to pull her back to the room easily.
"Miss Ivy, I can gurantee you do not want to go wherever your family is going," Reginald told her.
"Oh, yeah? And why is that? You're going to kill them?" Ivy asked. "You're going to degrade Diego some more? You're going to lead Luther on? You're going to ignore Vanya like you always have? You're going to treat Klaus like shit? You're going to forget about Ben and Five like what happened to them meant nothing? You're going to push Allison aside because she isn't number one or two? Or you're going to constantly put your selfish needs over ours because you do not know the first thing about being a decent human being." He grabbed her throat, Ivy's eyes widening as he held her off the ground. "W-What the fuck?"
"You will be staying here, Ivy," he said in a stern tone.
"Who are you?" Ivy asked, struggling to get out of his grip.
"You have no idea." Ivy immediately heated up at his words, bursting herself and the room into flames. Reginald was blasted back, Ivy dropping to the ground. She felt dizzy and could see Reginald also trying to get up through the flames. She turned and tried to open the door but it wouldn't budge. She lit herself on fire and threw herself as the door, falling to the ground outside of the room. She glanced to see Reginald walking now, her eyes widening. She began to sprint down the hallway, seeing a window at the end of the hall. She threw her body right at the window, seeing that the ground was probably far enough away to kill her. Suddenly, her body was caught in the air in a ball of flame.
In that moment, Ivy realized she could fly. The oxygen around her supporter her fire, making her smile as she turned to see Reginald at the window. She waved before turning to go to the only place that made logical sense to go. She figured her family was doing something that had to do with one of them. Luther has no life, Diego is a fugitive, Allison said goodbye, no one likes Klaus's cult, and Five just lost the only thing that gave his life meaning. Vanya still had something. Sissy and Harlan.
So that's where Ivy went.
