Chaper 37

After the movie ended, all of the teens proceeded to their next destination. Since it was already lunch time, one of the girls didn't hesitate to make an announcement.

And that destination was one of the fanciest restaurants in the mall. Of course Phoebe was the one to recommend it and no one objected her decision.

Now that the movie ended, Adora let out a tiresome yawn before throwing her empty popcorn can into the trash bin near the exit.

She then walked towards her friend, Bonnibel, as she followed Marceline from behind.

The blonde teen placed her hand around Bonnibel, giving her a disturbed look.

"Damn, that was boring." She chuckled with a weak tone in her voice.

Bonnibel smiled back and patted Adora's puffy hair. "Its because you were too busy watching Marceline's ex flirt with her."

"Uh.. No I wasn't!" Adora was quick to deny. "Besides, Marceline didn't even flirt nor responded back to that girl. So why should I care?"

"Uh-huh, I noticed it too." Bonnibel answered, switching her gaze to Phoebe who was now moving closer to Marceline.

Like last time, the black haired teen simply moved away from her ex, still ignoring her continuous chatter about the movie.

Adora rolled her eyes. "Bleh, they look cute together. I wonder why did they break up?" She faked a smile.

"I honestly don't know." Her friend started, glancing at the V3 as well with Phoebe walking in front of them.

But when she looked to her right, Bonnibel quickly noticed that Catra was secretly looking at Adora's eyes. Sadly, she looked away as soon as she realized Bonnibel caught her.

The teen smirked and turned back to the blonde teen. "You know what was the most interesting thing that happened back at the cinema?"

"No. What is it?" Adora arched an eyebrow at Bonnie.

"The part where I caught Catra looking at you when the kissing scene started to play." She replied, wiggling her eyebrows to tease Adora.

The blonde teen blushed before playfully pushing Bonnie. "Oh shush you! That was nothing, she was probably-"

"Probably what?" Bonnibel interrupted, still giving Adora a sly teasing look.

Adora scoffed. "Shut it. Aside from that, didn't I see Marceline secretly looking at you earlier, Bonnie?" She countered back with a teasing question.

As usual, her friend blushed at the thought. But before she could deny Adora's teases, someone suddenly ran beside Bonnibel's side.

The blonde teen suddenly coughed. "Oof, speaking of the devil." She continued to tease.

Bonnibel's cheeks redden even more now that the teen being mentioned suddenly walked by her side, leaving Catra, Rainbow Dash, and Phoebe at the front.

"Hey losers, what's up? Mind If I stay back here, thanks." She quickly said with a soft chuckle, not letting Bonnibel answer or agree.

"But I didn't say yes-"

"Well is it a crime to walk beside Rainbow Dash's girlfriend? I'm gonna guess not. So yeah, Im staying back here."

Bonnibel's eyes widened. "W-what? I'm not her girlfriend. What makes you say tha-"

Before Bonnie could even finish, Marceline quickly cut her off by flicking a finger to point something in the distance.

"Oh hey look, were here." She chuckled, not letting Bonnibel finish her words.
