Everyone jumped and shouted for joy when they were finally finished with the last robot and realized they had won the war. They all returned to their normal stature and kept Xer tied up. He was crestfallen and didn't raise his piercing, gray gaze for a while.

"It wasn't that hard, was it?" Muuqe asked, laughing. "I thought it would've been harder, but those two had a shitty army."

"No, Muuqe." Katrina said, as the huge frog healed her shoulder wound. "They didn't have a shitty army. We had a better army and a first-class sorcerer. The greatest one of all the dimensions.

Eanar blushed. "Thanks." He said.

"Well, well... And what do we do with this one?" Said Scrit. "He should die. Just as many other creatures have died because of him."

"Where is your friend, Oniblah, and the other. The one with the bulging eyes." Katrina asked, addressing Xer, but Xer didn't respond.

Scrit walked toward him in the form of a lion and roared in his face as loud as he could and the sound rumbled throughout the island. But he still didn't say a word or make a move. Suddenly, without anyone waiting for him, Scrit lunged at him, biting one of his legs tightly. He writhed in pain on the ground as he shouted.

"What do we do with him?" Scrit asked again, with a bloody mouth from Xer's leg.

"Matt..." Katrina said as she approached him, sitting next to her. "Why did you do all this? And on top of that..."

The others laughed as they listened to the conversation.

"I told you the truth. You knew it was true and still you started the war. You thought we were weak. What would you do now if you'd won? Seriously, tell me. You would've opened doors to our world and brought an army to destroy the land that has seen you grow, and with someone that had abandoned you the first moment things went south. Oniblah probably would've eliminated you as soon as he didn't need you anymore, don't you understand? You're such an imbecile..."

Matt was crying silently and still didn't look up. Tears fell down his cheeks like a silent avalanche. Katrina hugged him and he let her.

"Brother... What are we going to do with you now? We can't trust you... Do you understand? I'd take you home, but I don't trust you to not do anything... bad, so to speak."

"I want to go home." He said at last, still without moving. "Please."

Everyone looked confused.

"I want to go home, Katrina. I want to meet my mother."

"And then?"

"After that, I don't know. All I know now, is that I want to see mom."

"Katrina," said Aerdnah approaching them, "you can't decide anymore about this. Now, it is up to Elcaro. We have to go there and he'll decide what to do now."

She nodded. She wanted to take her brother with her, but she understood there were rules. Matt couldn't decide himself to leave after what he had done. He should be judged.

They flew with wings from the potion that Eanar created. They came in no time to the heart of the island, and they crossed the cave. Aerdnah whispered something again to the wall and when she opened it, that wooden bridge that she knew at the beginning of everything, appeared. She felt a tingling in her stomach. Upon reaching the room where Elcaro was, a blinding light covered the room and a voice began to speak. It was a melodic voice without gender. It wasn't known if it was a male or female voice. It sounded neutral.

"Curiatures of Cor, I have seen what happened and I am glad that you have won the war. Nature is wise and knows how to overcome all evils. It has not been a coincidence that Katrina was chosen. It is no coincidence that Scrit betrayed you at first. Nothing is coincidence. The world is a balance and everything bad happens for a good reason, because the good that it brings later compensates much more than everything bad that had happened. Friendship, fellowship, teamwork, are all things that have arisen among you after the storm started. I want to reward you for it. Eanar, you have been a key player in this story. Even though you were not going to recieve a gift for it, you decided to join the fight, creating the best potions for this contest, therefore, I will return your original form and you will be Surodec with all your rights."
