~Kageyama x Fem reader~ |fluff part 1|

Prologue: You're a first year at Karasuno this year and your good friend Yachi, who is a second year now, has finally gotten you to become a manager in training for the boys volleyball team. The first day you walked into the gym your heart was pounding but you were accepted with open arms by the team. One boy stuck out in particular, he was a second year, pretty tall, dark hair and a cold face. Even tho he had a scary look, you were reassured he was a good guy when he walked over to you and shook your hand welcoming you to the team as well, but this time when he shook your hand you started to blush and you stuttered your words more than ever before. You knew you liked him..

Monday morning
As you ran to the gym for morning practice you realized the gym was still locked up. Confused, you take your phone from your bag to see it's only 5am when practice starts at 6. You sigh, and sit down on the steps trying to think of something to make time go faster. Suddenly you hear loud footsteps coming towards you making you hide your face in your hands from fear. The footsteps stop right in front of you and you can hear someone trying to catch their breath.

"Oh hey.." a male says, you look up, moving your hands from your face, and see kageyama, the setter for the volleyball team "hey, why are you here so early?" You ask, patting the spot next to you on the step, offering him to sit down. "Early? What do you mean? It's 6, where is everyone?" He says while sitting beside you, you open your phone and show him the time, 5:05 am. He face palms "fuck, I must have read my clock wrong again" he states, you giggle at his response causing him to look at you as a blush crept up on his face.

"Whatcha wanna do?" You ask, slipping your phone back into your bag. His face calms down but he's still a bit flustered as he pulls a milk carton out of his lunch box "wanna share?" He asks poking the straw into the hole and handing it to you "really?? You're gonna share your milk with me?" You say as your face lights up with joy and you start to blush lightly. He nods and blushes as well before you take the box and he pulls out his phone. You take a sip and turn to him to see a flash "w-what???" You ask, putting the milk down between you both on the ground bellow the step. "I thought it would make a nice picture.. you know cause of the milk" He says, scratching the back of his neck and turning away embarrassed "I didn't mean to have my flash on sorry-" he's cut off by you taking a picture of him as well followed by your giggles "WHY??? I look so bad you idiot" he says while trying to reach for your phone "Noo you look great" you say as you continue to laugh and set the photo as your home wallpaper "now everyone will see how good you look hmf" you giggle "I'll remove it don't worry". He picks up his phone and sets his photo of you as his wallpaper as well "keep it, we're even now" he says with a smirk and blush growing on his ears, causing you to blush as well, and bury your face in your hands.

He picks up the milk carton and takes a sip, you look up at him, you suddenly blush even more and turn away "what? did I do something?" He asks in confusion "in...ct k..." you mumble into your hands "huh??? Speak up idiot i can't hear you" he says, grabbing your hands and making you look at him "say it" he states boldly, making your blush darken as you stare into his eyes "indirect kiss" you say softly, still staring at him. He blushes, and looks at the milk straw, remembering how you were sharing the drink with him, he lets out a small chuckle "is that bad?" He asks, while dropping one of your hands, the other still holding onto your hand. "N-no! I just thought you'd think it's weird or something" you say, all flustered from how calm he is "I don't think it's weird, it's cute idiot" he says while picking up the milk box and putting the straw near your lips. You take another sip before he puts it back down and leans in closer "indirect kissss" he says with a chuckle "oh shut it!!" You say, punching his arm lightly letting out a giggle, your face still beat read.

You both still have 25 minutes until the third years arrive to unlock the gym for morning practice, you both are just watching videos on his phone. You let out a yawn and stretch your arms "tired?" He asks, putting down his phone "mhm.." you hum, closing your eyes. He puts an arm around your shoulder, you open your eyes and turn to look at him "huh?" You ask, he turns his head away with a blush growing on his face before he pulls you closer to his side and lets you lay your head on his shoulder "thanks" you say with a smile before closing your eyes again "oh, yea anytime.." he says before laying his head atop of yours and closing his eyes as well.

Before you're about to drift off to sleep you hear the setter say something under his breath. "what?" You ask, nuzzling into his shoulder "oh you're awake? It's nothing" he says, beginning him to play with your hair "nooo tell meee" you beg with a small laugh "fine but you can't say anything to anyone or ill hit you, ok?" He says, you can feel his face get warmer realizing he's blushing, you giggle "mhm I won't tell anyone don't worry" he sighs, "I-I like someone, and maybe" he starts, you gasp and clench your fist slightly, thinking your hearts about to get broken "maybe it's you...." you let your hand open and you put your hand atop of his. "I like you too" you say with a large smile and a deep blush on your face "good" he says, closing his eyes once again and intertwining his fingers with yours "mhm.." you hum happily, closing your eyes as well.

AN: I know I said it would be spicy, but I have an idea ok!! Part two is next and that will be more spicy. I thought it would be nice to have a bit of an introduction to your relationship with him.
