~Kenma x Fem reader part 3~ |fluff~

Prologue: You arrived at school and had a small encounter with a student you've seen a few times but not too often. When you enter your first class, you see the same student at the desk behind yours, with a yellow phone case, just like the one your online friend KozKenz said he'd have. You two bond a bit in the hallways while delivering sheets of paper for the teacher, before kenma asks you to watch his volleyball game after school, followed by taking you out somewhere, and you happily accept!

~End of prologue~

You were in your last class of the day, science, not your favorite subject but you didn't hate it. As you sat at your desk, anxiously look back an forth from the teacher to the clock, awaiting the bell to ring so you could see your friend, someone put a hand on your shoulder.

"Hm?" You hum, while turning around, it's Kuroo! You guys don't know each other very well since you don't talk to many people, but from time to time he'll help you study in class.

"Hey! I saw you deliver papers to my class this morning with kenma." He says, nudging your arm a bit "what's up between you twoo" you blush, before turning away with a pout "n-nothing! We're just friends!" You start, "but I am going to his volleyball game after school!" You can't help yourself, you're too excited and you know Kuroo wouldn't judge you too much for being as excited as you are.

"Oh?" He says with a smile, before the bell rings making your eyes light up. "Well I'll see y'a there!" He says while walking out of class "hm?" Your left confused but don't question it, you quickly pick up your things and run out of class texting kenma on discord.

You: I'm out of class!

KozKenz: mhm I am too, I'm just going into the gym now

You: ok, do I go to the gym too?

KozKenz: yea yea, you can sit on the bench, you don't have to sit in the stands don't worry, Kuroo will be there so you can meet him

You: oh Kuroo? I just spoke to him, is he on the team?

KozKenz: yea he's one of my old friends, he's the captain :p, ok I gotta change, cya after

You: ah ok! Cya in a bit

You close your phone and put your bag in your locker before starting to head to the gym. As your walking outside a tall boy stops you, he has light grey hair, he's pretty skinny and is wearing the schools volleyball uniform.

"Hey beautiful, where are you going? Shouldn't you be heading home after school?" He says, while starting to twirl a piece of your hair "w-well I'm going to the gym to see the volleyball game.." you say, taking a few steps back and bumping into someone else.

"LEV WOULD YOU STOP FLIRTING ITS CREEPY" the boy behind you shouts, you turn around, he isn't as tall in comparison to Lev, who you just saw. He has dark beige hair and he looks furious "sorry yaku..." Lev says with a sigh. "sorry I'll be going now" you say with a small smile and quickly walk into the gym.

"There you are!" Kuroo shouts while waving at you, as he exited the change rooms. "Hey Kuroo" you say, waving back to him whilst you sit down on the bench "what took you so long? Kenma was getting worried" he says with a wink, sitting down beside you "I ran into two guys, I think their names were Lev and yaku- oh them!" You say before pointing towards the two boys walking into the gym, they're still arguing a bit. "Meh Don't mind them, Yaku is kinda like Lev's caretaker at this point" the tall captain said with a laugh. "Well I gotta go make the teams for practice, here comes kenma, good luck!" He gave you a small smile then got up and walked away

"Kenma!" You say, a light blush slowly growing on your face as you wave to the boy "oh hey, I'm glad you showed up." He says with a smile, and handing you a box "I uh...I remembered you talking about animal crossing and how you wanted it so.." he starts, before laying the box in your hands "we can play tonight ok? my Nintendo username is the same as discord" he nods, his face was bright red as yours was the same, your mouth open in shock. He waves before heading towards his team, leaving you with the neatly gift wrapped box with a small heart sticker on the top. Your face was bright red as you held the box tightly in your grasp.

"AAA I- IM SO HAPPY" you thought to yourself, internally screaming.

You continued to watch the game, but you couldn't get your eyes off Kenma. On one side there was Kenma, who ended up being a setter, Kuroo, Yamamoto, Shibayama and Lev. On the other side there was Yaku, Teshiro, Fukunaga, Kai and Inuoka. You didn't know any of the boys besides Kenma and Kuroo, as well as Lev and Yaku who you just met, but you wouldn't say you knew them. As the game went on, you could tell Kenma was a really good player, which made it even more fun to watch him score points against his teammates. Some of the best parts were when he'd get angry and give passive aggressive comments to some of the other boys, mostly Lev, which made you giggle.

~Time skip~

As the game came to an end, Kenma left the change rooms, picked up his bags and sat beside you. "Hey! You played really well!" You said with a smile, putting your phone back into your pocket. " I sent you a message by the way, but don't open it until you get home tonight!" You said with a blush. "Thanks..oh ok, well now that I'm done with volleyball where did you wanna go?" He asked, slowly putting his hand over top of yours before looking away, his face a light shade of pink. His hand was soft and comforting, making you feel safe, making you blush as well. "O-oh well I saw an add for a new gaming cafe not too far from here, it isn't too popular thankfully, but it has good reviews!" You say with a smile. He nods and intertwines his fingers with yours as you both stand up. "Let's go then" he says with a nod.
