~Kenma x Fem reader part 4~ |fluff|

Prologue: You entered the gym after an awkward interaction with two boys, Lev and Yaku. Before the game started, Kenma handed you a small gift box, you haven't opened it yet, but Kenma said that's it's the new animal crossing game you've been talking about. When the game finishes, Kenma comes out of the change rooms to sit beside you, placing his hand over yours. You both decide to visite the new gaming cafe not too far from school, so he intertwines his fingers with yours, and you both leave the gym.

~End of prologue~

"Thanks for accepting my offer by the way, I'm happy we got to spend time together in real life for once" Kenma said, squeezing your hand a bit more while his face grew red, as yours did the same. "Anytime! I'm happy I met you!" Your face deepening in color, whilst you scratch the back of your neck with your free hand.

You were both walking along the sidewalk, not too far from the cafe, before Kenma pulled out his phone. "How much longer until we get there?" The comment made you feel a bit bad, "Is the cafe too far? Is he getting bored? Is he loosing interest already?" You thought to yourself.

"Oh uhm no it's only 10 minutes away...sorry" you say with a sigh, redirecting your eyes to look down at your feet "oh don't be upset" Kenma said while slowly placing an earbud in your right ear, and the other one in his left. "I just wanted to know if I could show you some songs" Your face lights up with a huge grin and you nod "mhm!! Of course you can!" As you say that kenma is about to click play "some of these made me think of you..you know since I only knew you online, but I got a good idea of your personally pretty quickly" he started "and I really like your personality" your face once again flushed bright red, so did his. You wanted to say how you liked his too but you were too flustered to even say a word. Thankfully Kenma understood that, as he gave a soft chuckle and started the playlist.

~time skip~

You both arrive at the cafe, hands still together, as you stand outside the door. You take out the earbud as Kenma does the same and he puts them back in his pocket. "Ready to go in?" You nod in response and you both enter the cafe. You sit down at a booth near the back next to a window, there's a switch, ps4 and a Nintendo 64 all connected to the small tv in-front of your booth. "What do you wanna play first" you ask, sitting across from your date. "Hm," he looks towards the small gift poking out of your pocket "wanna play animal crossing?" His question makes your eyes sparkle, as you take the gift from your pocket and place it onto the table. He gives you a confused expression when he realizes it still wrapped "I wanted to open it with you!" You say, as you peel off the heart sticker from the top very carefully. You lean forward towards Kenma with the sticker on your finger "boop" you say with a giggle, as you place the sticker onto Kenma's nose. His face went all red and so did yours.

"Ok let's play!" You Insert the game into the switch and pass kenma the remote "It's a one player game, so I want you to show me how to play!" You say with a grin. He nods, then pats the seat next to him on his side of the booth. "It would be easier for you if you sat beside me.." he said, looking out the window after his comment to hide his blush. You nod quickly whilst switching onto Kenma's side of your table and scooting closer to him.

He starts to show you the game, getting you a good island with cute starter villagers, then starts to show you some of his ideal villagers to have, followed by ones that you'd enjoy the most. "Hey guys!" A women says, walking towards your table "Would you guys like anything to drink?" She hands you both the drink menus and you give her a soft smile "I'll let you lovebirds look over it for a moment" she says with a giggle and walks back to her work station. Your face goes bright red because of her comment as you hide your face in your hands. Kenma's face was also bright red but he gave a small chuckle in response to what she said.

"Hmm, all the drinks sound good, I assume you'd look something sweet?" He asks, while tapping your shoulder, making you look at him. "It's a cafe after all, would you like a hot chocolate?" You smile and nod, as he gives you a soft smile as well. "I'll get the same thing then" he then folds up the menus and waves to the server. She comes over and takes out her notepad. Kenma orders your drinks as well as a number 7. The lady giggles and picks up your menus "mhm gotcha" she says while walking into the kitchen.

"What's the number 7?" You ask with a confused expression. "Oh you'll see, I'm sure you'll like it tho.." You both keep playing, Kenma letting you try the fishing mechanism as well as chopping down trees. Soon the lady returns with your drinks "here you go" she says placing them on the table "and for you miss~" she says with a smile. "Oh thank you!" She then places a small, round, vanilla cake with a heart made of pink icing designed on the top in front of you, then she walks away, giving a thumbs up to kenma.

"whoa...it's so pretty!" You say, your face was beat red "I thought you'd like it, plus the heart was fitting..." he said, his face slowly getting red "why?" You asked, placing your hand next to his on the table "oh cause you know, I uh..." you giggle and slip your hand on top of his. "Kenma" you fix your eyes to look into his light brown ones "mhm?" He hums "I really like being with you" his face goes bright red, as yours does as well "I like you.. I like you a lot" you prepare yourself for rejection, you've only just met in person, but you feel like he knows you better than anyone else. "I like you too, I really like you" he says, placing his free hand to cup your cheek. Your face heats up even more, as he leaned in and left a soft kiss onto your forehead.

"Cmon eat up, I wanna know if you like the cake" he says whilst removing his hand from your cheek and picking up a piece of the cake with the fork "say aah" he says with a smile. You giggle "aaaah" he puts the piece of cake into your mouth, your face still bright red. "It's really good!" He chuckles and puts down the fork "good to know"
