3. Sanitarium Screams

~continuing from chapter 2
Still June 11th
Spencer's POV:

We run into my car and drive like crazy! We are going through every red light, but I don't care because Emily matters more to me than a 100$ driving Ticket. There is only 15 minutes left!! We are all really nervous since we know Emily's life is on the line. When will A ever stop tormenting us?

We soon pull up to the Radley Sanitarium. I have the erie feeling I always get when I come here. All the memories from when I was here come swarming back into my mind. Radley only existed in my nightmares with having no one there for me. I haven't been here since I was admitted. Even A put me in there! That bitch made me think that Toby was dead for over a month!

It still must be hard for Hannah to come here. Even though Mona's death was over a year ago. I was just starting to like Mona when A had to mess everything up!

Hannah, Aria, and I all start walking into the building. I look over at Hannah to see how shes doing

"Why does it have to be Radley of all places? Ugh, I hate A so much!" Says Hannah

"Me to Han, its gonna be alright."

I feel my phone buzz in my pocket. Great... Now Toby's probably worrying about me. It says I have 2 missed calls. Both from Toby and two texts. The first one is of course from Toby :

Hey, where are you? I was trying to call but you wouldn't answer. XOX Toby

I type back,

Hey sorry I was just uh over at Em's house. I will be home soon. XOX Spencer

I start walking into the building when I remember that I still have another message...From A

Come find me! Did you forget? I told you to come alone, looks like you brought your friends! Make them leave or else they will end up like Mona! Haha! Kisses - A

Oh god how I hate A! I need to keep the girls safe!! they are basically family!
"Guys! You should just go wait in the car" No answer. Oh no.
"Hello?"
*Crack!*
I turn around, and look all around me. I look towards the forest green bushes when I spot a black hoodie in the bushes holding a knife! A!

I start to run after the blurry figure but I trip on a rope and fall. God, A must have placed that rope so it could slow me down.

"Damn it!"

I see my phone a couple inches in front of me. I reach to grab it and look at the time. Oh my god only 5 more minutes! Poor Em I forgot all about her!!

Hannah's POV:
I see Spencer texting on her phone.

"C'mon Spence lets go!" I say
"Yeah just give me a second." She says

When I turn back I notice that Aria is gone. I run into the creepy mud stained building and look around. On the second floor is Mona's room, that she used to stay in.

I go down the dark hallway towards what used to be Spencer's room

I feel like there is someone watching me... I turn around quickly. Thats strange, I thought I saw a shadow behind me. There is this horrible smell , it kind of smells like gasoline. Thats weird, why would there be gasoline here?

I see a white cloth go in front of my mouth.
Oh god A is trying to kill me. I can't breathe! My eyes start to close as I start drifting off. The gasoline takes over the air. Everything goes black as I fall to the ground.

I wake up in a room belonging to somebody at Radley. But yet it seems so familiar, could it be Mona's room?

How long have I been asleep? And what the hell is with A and killing people, like at least let me graduate! I go to speak but realize that my mouth was duct taped close. "A" has to be the most cruel person alive! They even tied my hands behind my back with rope.

About a minute later a black hoodie bring's in Aria. 'A' is dragging her in so they must have done the same thing to her.

About 5 minutes later she wakes up. She has her mouth duct taped closed and her wrists tied together with a rope.

A black hooded figure bursts into the room, wielding a sharp knife. I try to make eye contact with Aria, but she's too weak to move. A moment later, I find myself face to face with A. To my surprise, I see that the person I am staring at is Wren.
I attempt to say something but it turns into a muffled scream.
Wren leans toward me with a knife and puts it against my neck
"Hannah, Hannah, I bet it never even crossed your mind that I could be the one behind all of this!"
Just then we hear the door fly open and we hear Spencer gasp as Wren runs towards the window. In a swift movement he smashes the window with his shoulder and jumps out.

Toby's POV:
Something seems strange about Spencer's text. I hope A isn't back! Spencer would tell me if there was something wrong, right? I'll go over to Emily's house just to check in on her.
*ding dong*
No answer...
"Hello! Spence! You in there?"
I go to knock but Instead the door opens. Hmm, why would Emily leave the door unlocked?

I go up the stairs to Emily's room when I see her window broken. What the heck? I start opening doors to see if Spencer or Emily are inside. I head down the stairs and I see a person in a black hoodie.

A sharp pain rushes through my head. It must have been one of A's minions. I start to fall down the last couple stairs and and I get a glimpse of who hit me. I see a familiar girl with a black strand of hair by her face. I can't believe who it is...

Spencer POV:
I race through the doors almost falling on Hannah's phone. I keep walking. WAIT! Hannah's phone?! Oh no this can't be good...

I sprint down the hall looking in every window. There was nothing on the first floor. I run up the stairs onto the 2nd floor. I hear Hannah's voice but it sounds muffled
"Heeeellpp"
I run down the dark corridors until I find Mona's room. I kick the door open with a slam! The black hoodie is over top of Hannah ready to kill her. "A" realizes I'm there and runs towards the dirt covered window and smashes it. I rush over to Hannah and see her crying on the floor with Aria beside her! I hear a loud crash and remember that "A" just jumped out the window.

"Im so glad your okay!" I say

I carefully take off the duct tape surrounding their mouths and remove the rope binding their hands together.
"Is Emily ok?" Aria asks
"I don't know I heard Hannah scream so I rushed in here."
"What if another person on the 'A' team has her" Hannah says.
Just then I hear my phone buzz in my pocket.

"I always knew Hannah was the smart one! 2:00pm, tomorrow, at The Brew or Emily goes bye-bye!

AN: Hey guys so I promised that this chapter would be really long so it took me a while to write! Im going to be really busy because I have a huge test at school and dance stuff so I might not be updating often :( I was also thinking if writing a book (not a fanfic) so tell me what you guys think! Thanks for reading

Teaser: Spencer will have to make some really big choices in the next few chapters! Also where do you think 'A' is taking Toby?
