7) Mishaan ki Pari deserves happiness
Mishti and Pari were the two opposite sides of the same coin. They were contrast in their approach to life. If Mishti was a storm that could destroy the ship, Pari was the rumbling thunder that could shake the earth. If Mishti was a perfectionist, planning everything, Pari excelled in bootstrapping, just go alongwith it. If Mishti's anger flared almost instantly, Pari's decisions would be taken without a single thought.
They were daughters of the same man. A man who loved with extreme attachment. A man who loved without thinking of repercussions. A man who could be seen visibly in their daughters.
Mishti had gone after her mother, like she was told. Always mature, always thoughtful and of course salient and selfless. Thinking about every member, every closed one before doing anything. Trying to love as many people and hurt as less as she possibly could.
Pari had also gone after her mother, and she loved it. Always landing herself in trouble, being the centre of decisions and first doing things without realising what and why. The instinct to do what she wants to came from her mother. The strength to live that decision, whether right or wrong also came from her mother.
But as much as these two were their mother's images, their father's blood ran through their veins. And they knew it.
Mishti's anger issues, Pari's runaway issues, and their extreme attachment to each other. Extreme love for each other and fighting spirit to do anything for the person they love. Giving no two fucks about anyone in the world when it came to this person they loved.
This was all their father's genes. They could see it. They could see how well they were in sync with each other yet still being different. Where one carried Kunal Malhotra's stubbornness, the other carried his beautiful contagious smile.
Mishti and Pari always knew that their past would never really leave them. The mistakes, the pain, the troubles their mothers and father went through would always be their cross to carry. They knew how tough it would be to live with each other. Mishti could easily see the face of Nandini, the woman who was the cause of her broken perfect family in the face of her sister Pari. And Pari could always see Mauli in Mishti's personality, she could see how Mishti would always be preferred because she was Mauli's daughter.
But they vowed, they vowed to never let their mothers decide their fate. They swore that no matter what, they'd be Mishti and Pari and not Mauli and Nandini. They agreed to live with all the troubles because at the end it was worth it.
Yet, sometimes when the past is attached so strongly to someone's present, the future is compromised.
And somewhere Mishti and Pari, compromised their future for the sake of a past they weren't even a part of.
And now they were too far away than they thought they would be.
'How is he your friend?' Mishti started with her round of questions, 'And what were you doing with him? And why did you bring him here!'
Ruhaan and Ansh stood aside, watching the sisters finally have a conversation even though it was an arugment.
Pari took a deep breath. Unlike Mishti, Pari's temper was always in check. She hardly got angry and after Ruhaan, she was the peacemaker of the house, the cool and composed sister of the lot. Pari knew how to handle Mishti's tempers well.
The best was to not argue with her.
'Dekh Mishti,' Pari said, calmly, 'He was bruised and really dizzy after the medicines. Because of which I had to bring him here.'
'He is Mishaan Mehra, Pari,' Mishti sighed, still wondering how these two met, 'Mishaan Mehra! Har dusri ladki pe muh marta hai aur teesri ladki ke saath so chuka hai.'
