Layla had just realized something.

She had not bathed since the day she was taken, and she stunk.

"Daniel?" She called out.

Daniel was by her side in an instant. "What is it?" He inquired. He looked happier today; maybe she should keep him like that.

Then he might let her go.

"I need a bath," she answered bluntly, "could you take me to a place where I could clean myself?"

He gave her a look of distrust. But still seemed to be considering the request.

"Please?" She asked, "I'm not going to run; I promise!"

And she wouldn't. She knew that he would catch her if she did.

"...fine," he said with clear reluctance in his voice, "I'll let you bathe."

And so they left the cafe, Layla trotting behind Daniel.

Layla sighed as she went into the water of the lake that Daniel had led her to. The water was warm due to the sun, and it felt like heaven.

She washed herself as best she could without soap and washed her clothes also. But when she finished she found herself in a dilemma.

"Daniel, do you happen to have extra clothes with you?" She asked with hope.

He peeked over his shoulder- she had insisted that he put his back to her as she bathed- then shook his head.

"You can borrow the clothes I'm wearing now," he suggested. Then he took off the tunic that he was wearing, baring his tanned skin to the sun.

Layla squeezed her eyes shut, realizing that he was going to go back with her nude. How was she going to follow him back without looking like a tomato?

But she was also curious. What did he look like? She had never seen a naked man before, and the one time she had seen him did not count because she didn't really remember it. She had been scared out of her wits at the time, after all.

And for some reason, she wasn't now.

So she slowly opened her eyes again, and gasped at what she saw...

Hehe, cliffhanger!! Please don't kill me! And as always, I'm so so sorry that it's late again! I'm just swamped with things I need to do!

Well, as always, I will update ASAP! Until next time!
