"Layla?"Lydia calls as I stare at my wall in silence. "Are you hungry?"she asks her voice small as if she's scared but I don't answer.
"You have to eat"she says as she sits beside me but I don't flinch. "He's dead"I whisper and she sighs. "It's not your fault"she says.
"Don't you get it? This is all our fault. We're freaks who hear things that nobody else does and we can scream so loud that I'm pretty sure it's inhuman. We're so selfish, Lydia. Boyd was a good person and so was Erica but we just didn't bother seeing it because all we care about are our ungrateful selves and now people are dying and we may be the only ones who can stop it. " I yell as I get up from my bed.
"Don't say that"She says as I cover my eyes. "The only monsters here are us"I whisper as she walks over to me but I pull away.
"I don't need this"I say grabbing a perfume bottle from my vanity and throwing it at the wall which makes her jump.
"And this is a lie"I say as I lift a picture of Lydia and I with our parents smiling. I throw it at the wall with hostility as the hot tears roll down my cheeks.
I grab the coffee mug from my dresser and throw it at the wall. I walk over to my closet and open it. I starts grabbing clothes and setting them on the bed.
"What are you doing?"Lydia asks. "I'm gonna burn them"I say as if it's the most obvious thing in the world and her eyes widen. "Maybe I should call mom"she says.
"Screw mom, she doesn't care"I say as I walk past a picture if Lydia, Allison and I hugging each other like if we let go, we would never come back and I lift it up. I go to throw it when I feel a strong hand grip my wrist, stopping me mid-air.
"Don't"Isaac whispers and I turn around to see him looking at me with worry. Lydia runs out my room as I look down at the ground. "It's all my fault"I cry.
"It's not. None of this is your fault"he says as he grazes my cheek. "Let's get you out of here"he says as he grabs my hand and pulls me out of my room. We slowly walk down the stairs as I continue to cry. He opens the front door and we step out into the warm night.
"What was he like?"I ask as we walk down the sidewalk. "He had a big heart. And he was loyal"Isaac says about Boyd.
"He would tell the funniest jokes and it would make anybody laugh even Derek, surprisingly"he says making me smile as I sniffle.
"And Erica?"I ask as he sighs. "Erica was sassy and coldhearted at times but she just wanted to fit in and be somebody. Everyone had beaten her down for years and then she becomes this new person.
She just wanted for someone to love her"he says as he squeezes my small hand in his big hand. "What about you?"I ask and he laughs.
"What about me?"he asks. "What do you like?"I ask. "I don't know. I like a lot of things, like you"he says making me look at him. "Well my favorite food is-".
"Mac and cheese"he says cutting me off. "You like the shelled Velveeta and you love pizza. Your favorite shows are One Tree Hill and 90210. When you grow up you want to be a photographer"he says making my eyes widen.
"How do you know all that?"I ask and he shrugs. "Stiles wasn't your only fan"he says making eyes get ten times bigger. "Really!?!?"I ask surprised and he laughs.
"You probably don't remember but in the second grade. We were at recess and there were these group of kids who were picking on me. They kept on laughing and calling me names but sure enough a pretty little redhead in a hello kitty dress marched over to us and threatened to beat them with dodge balls"he says and I gasp.
"That was you?"I ask and he nods. "You were my hero that day' he says making me blush. "You still are"he says as we stop walking.
"No matter what happens, you have me and you're still gonna have me because I'm here for you. When Boyd and Erica were getting ready to leave, I was gonna go with them because I thought that I had nobody here who I cared enough to stay for but then a pretty red head with a huge smile popped into my head and here I am...with her"he says as he leans down to kiss me.
A/N:Since Isaac isn't in episode 8 I decided to write this which I think is cute.
