I couldn't remember a thing after that terrible impact. But what I did remember was waking up in a non-familiar house in non-familiar room. My head was throbbing with pain and my sight was only a blur. But when I tried to sit up to look around, I felt an even larger pain in my hip and leg like a meteorite had struck it.
I then felt a soft pressure on my shoulder which softly pushes me back down on what feels to be a bed as a soft female voice cooed in my ear. "Whoa.....easy, you hotshot" The voice chuckled softly "try not to move too much unless you want to pass out for another week"
As my sight begins to go back to normal, I saw a teenage girl about my age with beautiful brown hair and Heterochromia eyes. I then saw another girl with blond hair and hazel eyes peeking through the door as she calls out for someone called Jacob. I was confused. who are these people? There definitely not Donut Lord and Pretzel Lady, that's for sure.
As A male teen with multicoloured eyes came in, all three teenagers began talking. I tried to listen to the conversation, but my head was throbbing even more painfully that it was like I was deaf.
I couldn't just lay here, saying and doing nothing so I was able to sit up on the gray and white bed and crack out a reply. "I'm sorry. I'm confused..." I spoke finally, it wasn't very loud due to my stupid headache. The blonde haired girl just looked at me with wide eyes like I was some kind of dinosaur something "yo! you can talk?" She asked loudly, her voice was not as gentle and sweet as the brown hair girl. "you are a genius..." I said with sarcasm in my voice "of course I can talk! I'm kind of a humanoid hedge—" "A HUMANOID WHAT?!?!" The blonde girl screamed, interrupting me which made me grimace. "YO!!!! I'm a dan—" I tried to say a snappy remark to that, but due to my splitting headache, it was hard to think. "nevermind...." I spoke under my breath, Hoping that the teenagers won't hear, but the brown haired girl did.
She sat next to my bed with a curious look "Who are you?" She asked. "And WHAT the halo are you?" the blonde haired girl butts in AGAIN!!! God! This girl is SO annoying! "Uhhhhh.....i'm a dang hedgehog!" I said with a snotty and annoyed tone "I think that's so obvious!" I could feel my fur bristle in anger That I never felt in a very long time. Ever since my fight with a psychopath named Dr. Eggman, I was a bit more laid-back........until now.
OK, to be honest! My life so far was horrible, JUST HORRIBLE!!!!! First, one of my good friends snapped at me, then he call me stupid pretty much behind my back and I heard him, then I ran away, got hit by a car and blacked out cold, and then I woke up here with a very annoying teenage girl and a STUPID THROBBING HEADACHE!!!!!
The brown haired girl sighs and smiles at me warmly "my name is Riley" She said "and this hottie, I mean dude, is Jacob and this loudmouth here is Echo" her voice was a bit more colder when she mentioned her friend, Echo. "I'm S-Sonic" I stuttered "and I thank you for your help and—" "well, you should be!" Echo Shouted in my face "you've been asleep for five whole days! That's almost A DANG WEEK, MAN!!!" "ECHO!!!" Both Riley and Jacob scolded at her. "Forgive her" Riley said to me over her shoulder, "no it's OK." I replied "I'm fine".
I thought for a minute; asleep, for five days........this can't be happening! "was I out for that long?" I asked. Echo loomed over me "YES!!!!" "I'm afraid so" Riley replied as she pushed Echo out of the room "This may be shocking, but we accidentally.........you know........hit you with our car"
She was right! It WAS shocking. These people who saved me were also the ones that hit me with their car! "That's it!" I growled, shivering in fear "I am out of here!"
But as I got out of bed, I immediately put pressure on my left leg. I then felt a large stabbing pain in my hip as I yelped in pain and held on the edge of the bed with my foot barely touching the floor. I then looked down and saw my left hip all patched up with some specks of blood showing through a bit.
"Hey!" Riley called worriedly "Sonic isn't it? You should stay in bed. It'll take a while for your hip to heal" I just sighed with annoyance and stepped on my leg. That was a mistake because only pain surged through my body as my sight began to blur and my legs began to give out.
"Whoa! Careful Hotshot! Don't you strain yourself!" A older female voice said as I felt someone catch me and my vision slowly began to go back to normal. I then saw a older woman with brown eyes and ginger brown hair looking at me warmly "so you finally woke up then" he said, her voice was like those girls from texas.
"Oh hey Sheriff Callie..." I greeted her groggily. The woman chuckles at the nickname as she places me back on the bed "How in tarnation did you guess my name?" She said. "Wait......WHAT?!?!" I yelped, surprised that I guested her name right. Callie nodded as Riley walked up to her and said "Hey Mom!" to her which surprised me even more. This nice women and this nice girl are mother and daughter. No wonder.
"I can see that he just woke up" said Callie "well yeah" Riley replies "I told him the truth and he's a bit confused and all that" I could tell from her voice, she has some kind of condition or diagnosis. I really want to ask her if she has a diagnosis or not, but that will sound rude! so no! I'm not asking that Horse crap! Shut up Sonic! No! YOU Shut up, Sonic! NO YOU SHUT UP! YOU SHUT UP!!!!! JUST SHUT THE—
"So.....what's your name, cowboy?" Callie asked which snapped me out of my thoughts. "Oh uh......S-Sonic....." I stuttered out my name due to me being scared if Callie might think that it's weird, but I was totally mistaken. Callie just smiled and chuckled at my name "Sonic....." she repeated with wonder "hmm....that's a cute name kid" "t-thank you" I smiled softly.
But then my headache returned as my vision once again begin to blur. Callie frowns when she see me rubbing my fingers through my head with discomfort as she gives me a bottle of water and a light blue container with yellow lettering saying; uh.......Add-vail? SAY WHAAAA?!

I was VERY confused, but Callie told me that it will stop the pain in my head and hip for the time being and I trusted her and took a few little cylinder shaped pills because like come on, she, her daughter and her friends were the one who almost KILLED ME with A DANG BUMBLEBEE CAR, but still saved my life.
It only took a minute for my headache to stop but I still felt a bit tired. I was scared that I was going to pass out cold again, but Callie told me that I need to rest and again I listen to her and laid my head back down and dozed off quickly. Dang, he must've been tired. But still I'm happy that I survived and I happy that I met new friends.
Besides this house was a lot more peaceful than my old home.........but that peacefulness...... *sigh* well, THAT only lasted for FIVE MINUTES!!!
