Chapter 5

It was a bright morning. Abi came to nandini's room with a cup of coffee. She slightly opened her eyes, looking at him she smiled

Nandini: Good morning bhai

Abimanyu: Good morning choti

Nandini: Bhai. Do we have any plans for today?

Abimanyu: Yes nandu. Maa said we are leaving to Malhotra's. As Nyonika aunty invited us for lunch. And Evening around 8o clock we will be leaving to club.

Nandini: What? Mom didnt tell me anything about going to Malhotra's.

Abimanyu: Actually, today morning only nyonika aunty called and invited us.

Nandini: Ok bhai.

Abimanyu: Get freshen up and come down, nandu.

Nandini: ok bhai.

After 1 hour, Nandini came down after getting freshen up. All the Murthy's are assembled in the hall.

Priya: Beta, We are all leaving to Malhotra's at 12.30pm as nyonika invited us for lunch. So get ready.

Ram: Priya, then why did you make breakfast, I would've been on empty stomach to eat delicious food made by my sister.

Priya(staring): Oh really Mr.Murthy!? Ok then you can go, stay at your sister's house and eat your delicious food 24*7.

Ram: "Yes, I'm planning on that", he said laughingly.

Priya: "Go Mr.Murthy. As if we are not holding you here", she said faking anger.

Ram: *smriked*

Nandini, dhruv and abimanyu were adoring and laughing at their parents fake fighting.

Nandini went and hugged priya and ram and said "You both are so adorable and I love you both."

Priya and Ram: We love you too baby.

Dhruv and abimanyu making sad faces and said

Abimanyu: Ah you both love your daughter alone!? What about us?

Dhruv pouted and nodded.

Priya and Ram: We love our 3 children beyond anything in this world and We love them equally.

All hugged together and laughed.

Around 11o clock, nandini came to her room and checked her whatsapp. Manik left her "Good night❤" message unseen. She felt bad and saw his last seen, it showed "last seen today at 10.39am". She felt sad seeing this.

Suddenly her phone vibrated. She hurried to see.
It was manik.
She sighed in relief.

Manik: ❤

Nandini: Good morning manik❤

Manik: GM

Nandini: Are you angry with me?😓

Manik: I'm getting late. Talk to you later.

Nandini(got hurt): ok bye!🙂

He left her message unseen again. Actually, manik is not angry, he is just being afraid coz she compared him with her brothers. He dont really wanna be her brother. He want to be the love of her life.

At Malhotra's:
Everyone are sitting in the hall and talking to each other.

Nyonika: I invited Muthy's for lunch today.

Raj: Good idea Nyo.

Nyonika: *smiled*

Cabir and Mukthi spoke happily.

Mukthi: Wow, they are coming in the afternoon now, I'll call nandu and tell her to bring her things with her. She will get ready with me for today's eve.

Nyonika: where are you both going in the evening!?

Mukthi looked at manik nervously.

Manik: Mom, they are not going anywhere alone. Actually, we all are going to the club today.

Nyonika: But manik...

Before she completes manik spoke

Manik: Mom, you dont have to worry. I'll take care of everyone.

Nyonika: I know you will beta. Still...

Cabir and Mukthi spoke keeping puppy faces.

Cabir: Mom please, we will behave well.

Mukthi: Mom please, we will listen to bhai.

Listening to them, Nyonika agreed.

Nyonika: ok but promise me, you will behave properly and listen to manik. If he says No to something, you all must obey.

Cabir and Mukthi said "pakka" together.
Manik smiled.

Thus all are waiting for Murthys arrival.
