Chapter 18

All were having dinner at the Murthy's.
Priya spoke

Priya: How's your practice going?

Abimanyu: Going good maa.

Ram: Your dresses all ready, abi?

Abimanyu: Yes paa. Aliya took care of it as she is our designer.

Ram: ok abi. She is a responsible girl. She will go it greatly.

Abimanyu: Yes paa.

Dhruv smiled at it silently. It was noticed by none other than our nandini. She smiled at him.

All had dinner and left to their respective rooms.

Other side, Manik came to his room after dinner and phoned nandini. It was the first time manik phoned her.

Nandini entered room, she saw her phone's blinking. She took it immediately and smiled looking at the displayed name.

Manik: Hello nandu.

Nandini: Hello manik.

Manik: what doing?

Nandini: "Speaking to you", said and laughed.

Manik: Seriously nandu? Try something new nah.

Nandini: Just now had dinner and came to room manik.

Manik: ok. So you spoke to dhruv?

Nandini: Not yet manik. I thought to speak with him today but he was occupied with some work.

Manik: Tomorrow We will speak to him together nandu.

Nandini: Manik, what if he gets angry at you for sharing with me his secret?

Manik: He wont. Even if he does, I'll manage him.

Nandini: ok manik.

Manik: So what's your weekend plan nandu?

Nandini: I dunno manik. Bhai will plan for something.

Manik: ok.

Nandini: You had dinner?

Manik: Yes nandu.

Nandini: ok.

Manik: Its getting late. Good night. manik dreams.

Nandini: what?

Manik: *realizing what he said and bit his tongue* nothing, sleep well.

Nandini: *smiled* ok manik. Sweet dreams.

Manik: "Nandu dreams.", said smilingly.

Nandini: what again?

Manik: Nothing.

Nandini: ok bye.

Saying both blushed at the conversation and slept.

Friday,
All left to college,

Mukthi: Guys, we completed both the practices. Only Dance practice is left.

Abimanyu: Yes, when are we starting?

Cabir: From monday please.

Navya: Yes, today we will discuss about our weekend plans.

Abimanyu: Yes.

Dhruv was shocked hearing them planning for weekend as he wanted to  confess his feelings to aliya. Manik and nandini looked at him immediately and smiled.

Manik: Guys, I don't wanna go anywhere outside this week. So, Why dont we have a sleepover alone?

Nandini: "Yes, I too don't want to go.", said eyeing him.
