Malia discovered something very interesting on the Tuesday night where she was doing homework with Juno and Bailey. Dia was off somewhere with her flavour of the day and Juno was trying to help his friends with their Potions homework which, according to Malia, was, 'completely fucking impossible and anyone who can do it should be sent to a lab where they can be experimented on because it can't be natural'.
"You know this, Mals! I asked you the same question exactly 26 minutes ago! Where can you find a bezoar?"
"For fuck's sake, Juno! Do you think that if I knew the answer I would be crying into Bailey's chest right now?!" Malia glared at her friend so frighteningly that Juno had to loosen his collar, evidently terrified.
"A goat's stomach." Bailey said, stroking Malia's hair and giving Juno a look over her friend's head.
"Well done, Bails." Juno muttered, flicking through his book for an easier question where the likelihood of him being maimed by Malia would be significantly diminished. Malia sighed and wiped her eyes, sitting up properly so she wasn't curled into Bailey anymore,
"Thanks, B," she said, smiling, "Sorry about your jumper..." she trailed off, frowning and tilting her head at the dark blue jumper that Bailey was sporting that day,
"That's okay," Bailey shrugged but soon noticed Malia's intense stare, her eyes widening and her cheeks going bright pink, "Malia-"
"That's not your fucking jumper, Bailey." the brunette covered her mouth with her hand and Juno looked up from his book, intrigued,
"I thought I didn't recognise it," he said, "I figured it was either Dia or Malia's though."
"Nope." Malia shook her head, a grin forming on her face as Bailey looked more and more like a deer in the headlights, her lip going between her teeth as she swallowed, "That's Sirius'."
"Fuck off!"
"SIRIUS'!?"
"Oh, hi, Dia? Good date?"
"Exceptional. BABY BAILEY IS WEARING SIRIUS BLACK'S JUMPER?!"
"SHHH!" Bailey pushed gently at her friends and looked around to see if anyone had heard - everyone had of course. "We're going to Juno's room." she told them under her breath and ran off, Dia right on her tail.
Now, I'm sure you think that was the interesting thing that I had referred to Malia discovering at the start of the chapter. I'm afraid not. What Malia had found interesting was when she turned to Juno to stare at him aghast at finding out that innocent, sweet little Bailey had done something rather exciting with Sirius Black, she looked into his eyes. Instead of hearing Bailey's name when she looked at him, which she was expecting as Juno loved Bailey more than anything, she heard someone else's. A certains someone's name that made her freeze and made her mouth drop open for the second time that night.
