It was a Saturday night. Malia and Dia had been invited to a party in Hufflepuff Common Room. Despite not being much of a conversationalist, Malia rather enjoyed parties at Hogwarts and her distaste for other people tended to drift when she had something to drink. Most of her late night rendezvous' happened when she was under the influence. The girl also made more of an effort for these sorts of things. Dia usually forced her into a tiny dress and she actually enjoyed wearing makeup so she tended to surprise people because they had gotten used to her bare-faced and in her uniform. Malia wore her signature colour - blue, to match her eyes - in the form of a mini cocktail dress, her dark hair was curled over her shoulders and she wore just the right amount of makeup. Dia was wearing a white lace top with a bright pink skirt that perfectly complimented her skin tone. The two girls turned to admire each other and nodded their heads in synch,
"We're so fit." Dia held her hand out and Malia grabbed it,
"You're not fucking wrong." she winked and they left their dorm. They'd managed to convince Bailey to go with them and even got her to wear a little denim skirt, even though she kept her wooly jumper on top of it. Bailey was sitting on the sofa in the common room with Juno, reading the same book as they waited. They looked up when the two girls came down the stairs and their eyes widened.
"You look so nice!" Bailey beamed and Juno raised his eyebrows,
"You're going to have boys chasing you all night." he smirked and Dia winked at him.
"Are you coming, Juju?" she pulled Bailey up from the sofa and Malia fluffed up her blonde hair, passing her some lip gloss that Bailey took begrudgingly. Juno shook his head and the girl broke into annoyed cries,
"No! Come on, Juno, I'm going." Bailey pouted and Juno shrugged,
"I've got homework." he muttered and Malia rolled her eyes,
"It's a Saturday night, Juno! Come and have some fun." she flopped on the sofa beside him and wrapped her arms around his waist. Juno put his arm around her shoulders but shook his head, his glasses going slightly lopsided as he did so,
"I'll have fun after I've graduated."
"No, you won't. You'll still work your arse off." Malia looked up at him with puppy dog eyes. Dia was stood with her arms crossed, shaking her head disappointedly,
"You do not live up to your name." she muttered and Juno frowned,
"What do you mean?"
"Your name is Juno Thrifter, the single coolest name I have ever heard, and you'd rather do homework than come to a party." she looked disgusted and Juno gave her a confused look.
"Oh, please come, Ju." Bailey said pleadingly, "It'll be so much more fun with you there! I need someone to hang out with once these two go off with handsome boys!"
"I'll let you keep your sweater vest on!" Dia offered,
"Fine!" Juno threw his head back and the girls cheered, "But this is coercion, for the record."

The party was in full swing as the four friends arrived. Dia was instantly greeted by some people she knew and Malia spotted her boys across the room,
"Let's go and say hi to the boys." she said and the four of them made their way over.
"MALI!" James bellowed as soon as he saw her and pulled her into a hug, lifting her up and spinning her around, "You look sensational!" he cupped her face and she gave him a small smile,
"Ta, JJ."
"Fuck off, Prongs! You're hogging her!" Sirius pushed James out of the way and gave Malia a hug of his own, squeezing her really tightly, "Jelly time?" he whispered into her ear and Malia rolled her eyes. Ever since he had been interested in girls, Sirius had used Malia to make girls jealous and make them want to approach him before the pretty brunette stole him away. It didn't entail much work on her part but it worked every time. Malia nodded reluctantly and Sirius beamed, kissing her cheek and sitting down on the sofa, pulling her onto his lap. He wrapped one arm around her back and rested the other on her thigh as hers went around his neck. James and Dia sat beside them on the sofa as Remus and Juno sat on the floor, Peter on a chair. Dia reached down to play with Juno's hair as James made a noise of protest.
"I feel left out without someone paying attention to me." he whined but soon grabbed Bailey's hand and pulled her to sit on his lap, "There we are. Bails can play with my hair." he grinned and Bailey blushed madly but she had a smile on her face. She liked James a lot, he was slightly arrogant and very loud but he was quite protective of her and he was a good friend to have. After a short while, Dia was whisked off to dance by a gorgeous Seventh Year girl with long blonde hair and tanned legs. The pair giggled as they swayed around and her friends all placed bets for how long it would take for them to disappear upstairs.
"I say fifteen- what the fuck is he doing here?" Sirius growled and Malia followed his line of sight. She rolled her eyes as soon as she saw Regulus smirking at her and begged that he wouldn't approach them. He did.
"I thought you said you weren't one of his whores, Burke." he looked pointedly at his brother as Sirius scowled at him, his fingers gripping Malia's thigh tightly.
"You might need to brush up on your sex ed, Black." she looked at him boredly as she absentmindedly twisted a lock of Sirius' hair between her fingers, "Because this might be how far you get with a girl but I figure your brother gets slightly further than a cuddle." she teased and Regulus' face darkened slightly at the mention of Sirius being his brother but he soon plastered back on his smirk,
"I'd be happy to show you how far I can get with a girl, Burke." he winked at her and Sirius let out a low growl. Regulus, hearing this, raised an eyebrow, "Down boy." he sneered and Sirius went to stand up but Malia placed a hand on his shoulder,
"As fun as this was, Black, can you fuck off now please?" Malia stood from Sirius' lap. The boy tried to keep a hold on her but Malia gave him a look. She stepped up to Regulus and put a hand on her hip, "I'm sure there are other people you can aggravate with your presence."
"Dance with me." Regulus said out of nowhere and Malia reared her head back in surprise. At this point, Sirius did jump up and Malia had to put a hand on his chest to subdue him,
"I beg your pardon?" she raised an eyebrow at Regulus and he nodded his head towards where everyone was dancing,
"I want to talk to you." he said seriously and Malia frowned,
"Don't, Mal." Sirius whispered but she ignored him,
"Fine, but any funny business, Black and I'll let the boys have their fun." she gestured to the riled up Sirius and James and Regulus smirked, holding his hand out to her,
"That won't be necessary, Malia darling. We'll have the fun all by ourselves."
