I'm Ok

C H A P T E R - S E V E N

The assembly was boring. They just talked about how we were going to do graduation, and prom and such. I sent a text to Mom saying that I was going out with friends. She was fine with it. Logan doesn't have a car yet and Alex had to go get ready to the competition. So I told her that she can ride with me. We stop for hot chocolate and chocolate muffin.

"So how long have the boys compete?" I asked.

"All there life basically. Well Larri doesn't compete, but Alex and Tobias have been competing since they were 7 years old. So 10 years now." She says. Damn. 

We waited for the others at the bottom of this huge hill. Logan and I try to stay warm by huddling together. We made jokes and laughed at each other as we waited. Larri was with a guy when he came. 

"Lad's meet Liam. Liam these are my best bitches Kristen and Logan." We said our hello's. He was okay if you asked me. He has long hair that goes to his shoulders and blue eyes. 

"ALRIGHT LADIES AND GENTLEMEN GET READY FOR ICE AND FIRE COMPETITION!!!" Yelled the announcer. Logan and I yelled and cheered. Of course I had to cough after that. 

We watched people snowboard, doing amazing tricks and such. When it was Alex's turn, Logan and I went crazy. I laughed and cheered, still coughing in between. We watched him, cheering him on. Each judge gave him a 8 or 9. Which was good.

Next up was Tobias. His whole gear is black and blue. Funny, my favorite colors. My heart made a little flip. What can I say, I like him... just a little. 

"Next up we have the one and only... TOBIAS WATSON!!" Logan and I screamed, with other random girls that barely had any clothes and wore a lot of make up. Bull shit whores. 

He stood at the top of the hill putting on his goggles. I could see him taking a deep breath and let it out. He was nervous. He started to go down, making these crazy stunts, then he flipped....twice! Holy shit! At the end he put up his goggles up and the crowd went wild. His scores were 10's and a 9.5!! Alex came in 2nd and some other guy that I didn't care about came in 3rd. We waited for them. 

When Logan saw Alex, she ran up to him and kissed him full on the lips. Larri left with Liam. Tobias came up to me. 

"Great job. That was... really, really  good." I tell Tobias as he walked his way up to me. He grinned. 

"Thanks it took a lot of work and practice in this one." He shrugged it off. "Not a biggie." he adds. I rolled my eyes but smiled back. I fiddled with my cannula. 

"So I guess I'll see you in hour?" He asked. I bit my bottom lip. 

"How about 30 minutes?" I asked. 

"Sure. works for me." We gave each other a solute before I walked away.

As soon as I went home, I had a lot of questions from Mom. I told her the whole thing. 

"Oh and also I have to leave in like 20 minutes." Her eyes lit up. 

"Where?! With who?" 

"Someone. We're just going out as friends. Nothing huge." I said. She gasped and covered her mouth. 

"Is it the guy that I saw you talking to at the party?" I glared at her. 

"Where you spying on me?!" I yelled. She blushed. 

"A little." 

"Mom!!" 

"So is it?!" I blushed. I nodded and she squealed. "He is pretty hot." She admits. I look at her like I don't know who she is. "Do we need to have the talk?" She asked in a serious tone.
