Max POV

I met a girl. Her name is Susan. Already after the first meeting I felt that she is a very nice nerd, trying to help with everything and everything. I like such people, although I know that they are usually objects of mockery of their peers. Well, some people claim that basketball players are some kind of critics who stand on lockers and judge every passing person, but I am not. Actually, I see in it people like Karen. She is a popular friend of Susan. She may seem forgiving, but she can strike a blow to the heart. How do I know? She went out with my friend Bryan. And you know what? She kept brawling with him about talking to other girls, even if it was just about homework, put in some stupid picture with him, even the ones where he came out terrible and told him to give his best in basketball to make them more popular. Such people do not turn me on at all, in fact I think they are terrible. Get to the point. Why am I talking about this? Because today I met them both and a guy named Ryan, who seems to be okay. Well, it was a random meeting.

I was just going to school, carrying a backpack on my shoulder and a bag of clothes in my hand. A lot of students were running around me and I sighed, remembering the times of primary school, for example, when I played Berka in the first grade, fell on the sidewalk and almost broke my nose. Well, anyway. I greeted my teammates and then met Bryan.

,,Hi bro" I said and we got five. Suddenly my attention was caught by a familiar silhouette under the school. ,,Is it Karen?"

He turned around and saw her talking to some guy.

,,Damn, you're right" he moaned. He still felt something for Karen despite her behavior and the help of a psychologist. I can't understand it, he's a super guy, why would he want to be happy with some popular moron?

,,Let's hide and follow her" I said, wanting to help his friend. He smiled and ran into the bushes. We came a little closer and we could already hear part of the conversation. I think they either spotted us or just decided to go to school right now.

,,We lost them" said Bryan, disappointed. I wanted to make a joke, but I think he was still sad because of Karen so I decided to comfort him.

,,You will find yourself a better girl" I said ,,You deserve it."

He smiled gloomy and nodded gracefully. Suddenly I noticed Susan. She was wearing a loose brown sweater and black pants. Her wavy black hair was swaying gently in the wind and her shoes turned out to be black sneakers. I have never seen her in such outfit. You don't know why, but I started to blush gently, which a friend of mine noticed, though.

,,Did you feel love to Susan?" He asked with an inquisitive voice. I shaken myself. It is impossible for me to feel something to her, I just liked how she looked today.

,,Did you fall on your head?" I said, and he laughed. Susan started to go to school shyly.

,,Are we going to school?" I asked ,,Because we will still be late."

,,We can always put it down for late training" he said.

,,But..." I started, but I was not sure what I wanted to say.

,,It's about her, right?" He asked suspiciously ,,You like her."

,,What? I didn't..." I said, but he interrupted me:

,,It wasn't a question."
