"Ugh, he's so contradicting." I bury my hands in my hair as I sit across from Sarah and Zara and sit next to Gabbi. She's only here for one more day since it's been a week already. I introduced Gabbi to them yesterday when we all went out to dinner for a girl's night. "Well, you do have a mate." Gabbi disagrees.

She's supposed to be on my side. "Still if he wasn't interested he wouldn't have kissed you." Zara says "I mean he is avoiding her so maybe it was just attraction." Sarah adds. I sigh.

"I got in the bath for him and he rejected me," I reply. They all say oh in the worst way. "Did he say anything about your mate?" Gabbi asks "No he just said he was tired and that's the last time we talked." I look up at them.

"Maybe he just doesn't want me." I wheeze "Maybe he thinks you will run back to your mate if he does anything with you." I hadn't told Zara and Sarah everything about my mate but they know one thing. That I don't have feelings for him. "Why though? I've told him how I feel about Jonathan." I add "Well it makes sense. The mate bond is strong, what if you sleep with him! Then what?" Sarah asks

"I'll continue sleeping with him?" that comes out as more of a question than an answer. "What if he wants to be more than just sleeping around? Can you give him that?" Zara raises an eyebrow. "Yes. I'll have a mate but that doesn't mean I have to be with my mate. I can have kids and marry still even if it's not Emilio." Gabbi nods "That is true."

"Your mate can still have sex with you anytime though. Your wolf can't resist." I bite my lip as I think how Jonathan wouldn't let me be happy with someone else. He's a selfish person and if he can't be happy I can't either. I sigh again. "Stop sighing and just forget about him. You can focus on what you want to do later, right now is girl time." Sarah pats my back.

She's right. Later I will figure out something to do. Right now I need to have a good day with the girls. "So I heard it's your anniversary tomorrow," I say to Sarah. "Yeah, Gabriel and I will be out of the country for a week. We plan on going to Hawaii." she smiles.

"Oh, the luxury!" Zara sighs "Jacob and I won't be able to afford to go on a honeymoon. With all these hospital bills we won't be able to go anywhere."

"Hospital Bills?" I ask "Yeah. Jacob used to be a professional underground fighter and got hurt a lot." she bites the inside of her lip. "We have so many hospital bills."

"How old are you if you don't mind me asking." Gabbi asks "I'm 22 and Zara is 21," Sarah says sipping her drink. "Oh, you all are one to two years older than us." Gabbi smiles.

"Yes. I'm still young though" Zara laughs.

For the rest of lunch with the girls, we ate a lot and went shopping. I got some clothes and more decorations for my room. I then invited them over and they helped me set up the rest of my room. I don't plan on staying but I do want to stay in a nice place for a while.

After they helped me we sat down and did a little more talking before they left leaving me with Gab.

"I can't believe I have to leave you," she says squeezing the heck out of me. "Yeah, I know. I'm going to miss you." I poke out my lip and she giggles. "I'm going to be back here! Next time I come I want to see you with hotness next door instead of bum in another state." she giggles

"Trust me I'm taking care of that tonight." I wink

We both sit down on my bed and start scrolling through Netflix. "Let's watch a haunting of hill house again that shit is scary." Gabbi shakes "Aww but we haven't seen the society yet." I pout "That's because we were watching all 3 seasons of the Rain" Gabbi rolls her eyes. "Just one episode and if you don't like it then we can watch it again." I plead. "Okay fine!" she sighs.
