Part 26.

Kageyamas POV.
   I walk into my house hinata following behind nervously. I see my mom over on the couch watching TV, in the same spot where we had our argument. She looked exhausted.
   I walk over to my mom, hinata still following behind me.
"Hi Tobio, glad you're back home" she smiles. I smiled back at her.
I ignores all the things I actually wanted to say to her and introduced Hinata. "Oh hey mom! This is Shōyō , Shōyō Hinata."
The small red haired boy held his hand out to shake my moms hand.
"I-It's n-nice to m-meet you Ms k-kageyama!"
Hinata says shakily.
My mom shakes his hand.
"So YOU'RE the boy my Tobio likes" she looks him up and down and he gulps.
"Yes he-" I try to say but my mom cuts me off.
"I want to speak with your friend here Tobio"
"S-sorry" I replied
"So, Shōyō why should I allow my son stay with you?"
"B-because d-dont y-you l-like to s-see you s-son happy?"
Shōyō responded.
"Did just sass me?"
"N-no that's not w-"
   I cut Hinata off noticing how anxious he was getting. "Listen mom, I didn't bring him here to get interrogated. You asked me to come back home what do want?"
      "You live HERE! What do you mean what did I want." she responded.
"I meant, what do you want? You kicked me out mom. That hurt."
      "And do you not think that you being gay hurt me?!" She yelled at me.
"It shouldn't! Mom I'm happy, Shoyo is who I love! I don't understand why you can't just accept that? If you would actually try to communicate with him properly, and held a REAL conversation with him, I'm positive you'd love him too." I crossed my arms.
"I could never love someone who caused my son to be gay!"
I look over at hinata who is clearly on the verge of tears. I wanted to trying to end the conversation as soon as possible, I couldn't keep hinata down here he looks like he's about to break.
"Well guess what mom, you're going to have to learn. I'm going to be with him for the rest of my life and there's nothing you can do about it!
She stares at me with a blank expression. There was no telling what she was going to say next.
"You either except me and learn to love hinata, or after today you can expect to never see me again" I tell her before grabbing hinata by his arm and dragging him up to my room.
"I-it was nice m-meeting you" hinata waves still trying to be respectful even after all the mean things my mom just said.
We get into my room and I shut the door.
Hinata starts bawling instantly.
"I'm s-sorry kags this is all my f-fault, if it w-wasnt for me y-you and y-your mom would b-be f-fine."
He cries.
    "Shōyō Hinata stop! It's not your fault. Stop saying that!" I pull him into me.
"I'm  going to figure this out. Please just stop worrying about it okay baby? This is my problem not yours,  okay?
     I pull out of our embrace and give him a kiss, then going over to me bed laying down holding my arms out wanting to cuddle. He wipes his tears and smiled weakly before coming and laying on top of me. I wrapped my arms around around him.
"Tobio?" The small boy looks up at me.
"Yeah baby?"
"I love you so much"
I smiled at his words.
"I love you too, thank you for being here. It means the world to me."
"It's no problem, I'm just happy to be with you."
Hinata smiled.

We laid there for a for minutes before I get a text from my mom. The sound of my phone startling Hinata who was half asleep.
"What was that" he asked sleepily
I giggled at him. "Its a text from my mom boke"
"Ohh, what does it say" he asks.
"Come downstairs I need to talk you and your friend"
