It was going to be exhausting day for everyone in Roy Chaudhary Mansion. From early morning haveli was busied.
"Bahu..."kaka called Bondita. She took his blessings. "Ji kahiye." she requested. "Anirudh se kehdo ki woh kurta pehen le aaj. Yeh vilayti patloone hamre kurte pajama ki barabari thodi kar sakti hai." she nodded and went in search of her pati babu.
Bondita took out two kurtas from wardrobe and stood in front of mirror imagining him in each. Anirudh who just entered the room saw her. "Yeh laal wala ya pilla." she questioned herself. Anirudh tiptoed near her and whispered "Laal" Bondita screamed in shock. "Oh maa dugga" And Anirudh couldn't stop laughing. Bondita was feeling so embarrassed but for his smiling face she was ready to do anything.
"Aapne baal barabar se nahi poche. Phir jukam hoga toh." she made him sit and wiped his hair. "Woh toh sardee ka mausam tha isliye hogaya tha jukam. Bahut purani baat hai, vese tumhe yaad hai." he asked. "Mujhe aapki sab bate yaad hai." she replied.
"Bahu, maharishi ji ko aane mein abhi jyada wakt nahi hai. Bhog ki sab tayaari ho gayi na? Aur Jo khass kheer kahi thi."Kaka asked. "Aap chinta mat kijiye sab ho gaya hai. Aur kheer bhi Chule par chada di hai. Thodi der mein ban Jaye gi." Bondita answered.
"Didi kheer pe dhyaan rakhna mein aati hu." Bondita told Priyamvada. "Ji meine yahi hu." she replied. Priyamvada swiftly poured some oil on the floor. Soon Bondita returned. "Bodi, mere hisaaf se kheer ho gayi hai. Toh chule se utaar dijiye." Priyamvada said. "Haan. Thodi thandi ho gaye toh swaad aacha aayega."Bondita said. Bondita lifted the heavy vessel and started walked towards platform. She slipped and in reflex she losses her grip on vessel causing all the kheer on ground.
Due to the loud noise of fallen vessel everyone in haveli ran to kitchen. As soon as Priyamvada saw kaka she dramatically exclaimed. "Dugga Dugga, yeh aapne kya kar diya bodi. Abh hum maharishi ko kya parose ?" "Din nahi jaate humare, jab tak yeh ladki koi naya hungama nahi karti. Da kya jaroorat thi ese itni badi zimmedarree dene ki? Abh dekh lijiye uska natija." Binoy blamed bondita with his harsh words. Bondita who was already scarred now was in tears.
"Baba, galti se ho gaya bodi se. Ussme kaka ya bodi ki kya galti??" Batuk took Bondita's side. "Nahi Batuk tumhare baba sahi keh rahe hai...." Kaka who was silent till now bursted angrily "mujhse bhul ho gayi bahu Jo meine tumhe itni baadi zimmedaaree saup Di." "Nahi kaka sasurji"Bondita said with tears following down her eyes. "Ab hum kya karenge Binoy?" kaka questioned. "Jisne yeh sab kiya hai ussi se puchiye. Kese karogi paraayashchit ?? Bolo ya sirf ese hi khadi rahogi."
"Baba, aap rahi ka pahaad bana rahe hai. Ab koi itni baadi galti jaan booj ke thodi karta hai. Maharishi ko aane mein abhi waqt hai. Milke kaam karenge toh Pooja se phele kheer ban jaegi." Anirudh defended her. "Par ghar mein itni samagri nahi hai." Priyamvada said. "Dada sahi keh rage hai. Mein aur somnath dada bazaar se samagri leke aate hai." Batuk said. "Ab koi galti nahi honi chahiye." kaka said.
Bondita wiped her tears and proudly looked at Anirudh. "Bondita tumhe kahi lagi toh nahi?" Anirudh asked while trying to look for any marks of burnt. "Nahi mein thik hu pati babu." she answered. Meanwhile everyone got to work.
Kaka frequently checked up the progress. "Malik, suraj sandesha lekar aaya hai. Kisi bhi waqt maharishi aa sakte hai." Bihari announced. "Kheer ko abhi aur waqt lagega. Ab kya karenge." Koyli said.
Will Bondita and Anirudh be able to save the day?
