"Kheer ko abhi aur waqt lagega. Ab kya karenge??"Koyli said. "Agar mere pass jaddu hota, toh mein waqt rukwa deta." Batuk sadly said. "Toh mein uss jaddu se Anirudh dada ko rok leti. Bani banayi yojna pe panni pher diya. Par kab tak bacha paoge bondita ko Barrister babu??" Priyamvada talked to herself.
"Waqt toh rokh nahi sakte par hum maharishi ji ko toh rokh hi sakte hai." Bondita Suggested. "Par kese bondita?" Anirudh asked . Bondita told them the plan. "Somnath dada aur batuk samhal ke."Bondita warned him. "Arey, bodi aap chinta maat kijiye sab sahi hi hoga." He replied.
Maharishi with his 20 students came across the premises of Roy Chaudhary Mansion. "Aapne humare ghar padhar ke usse pavan kar diya." Kaka said. "Humara saubhagya ki aapne hume aamantrit (invite) kiya." Maharishi replied. "Aaiye." Kaka gave him space to enter. Before he could enter a dog jump on him. "Yeh kutta kaha se aagaya. Iss ko nikalo yaha se Bihari." kaka snapped. "Ji Malik" Bihari replied and tried to catch the dog.
The dog escaped from bihari's clutches and rested near Maharishi's feets. "Bihari..." Kaka was interrupted "Kaka, chinnu (dog's name) maharishi ji ko aadar prakat kar raha hai. Aur aapne hi kaha tha ki kutto ko sahi aur galat ki pehchan badi pehchan hoti hai." Somnath tried to convince. Everyone awed to how great rishi ji is. "Trilochan babu kaun hai yeh? Bahut mithi baate karta hai." he asked. " Ji humara bhatija hai. Zamindari ka sara kaam yahi sambhalta hai."kaka proudly introduced him. Somnath took blessings.
"Par ab hum Pooja nahi kar payenge.." Maharishi said. "Aisa maat kahiye." kaka said with pain in his voice. "Gharke saabhi logo ne aapke aashirwaad ke liye raat din mehnat ki hai. Agar aaj aap Pooja kiye bina chale jayenge toh apsagun ho Jaye ga. Kuch toh upaay hoga na." Batuk said. "Haan kuch kijiye." kaka said. Maharishi though for a second and said"Ek upaay hai."
"Jesa aap kahenge vesa hi hoga." kaka said with a lot of hope. "Humare snaan ki vyavastha ki jaye jaldi yaha angan ( courtyard) mein." he said. "Ji ji ho jayega. Bihari...." Soon arrangements were done and Maharishi took the bath. "Pravesh kijiye." with that he finally entered the haveli.
"Trilochan babu, bahut samay vyart ho gaya hai. Jaldi se maa ki Pooja kar lete hai." He suggested. "Ji aaiye." kaka directed him to mandir. Few students were checking of all things needed for Pooja were. "Aap chinta maat kijiye. Humne sab samagri khud parkhi hai." Kaka said. When one student whispered something in rishi's ear.
"Trilochan babu maa bhog nahi dekh raha.Usske bina kese chalu kare Pooja. " Maharishi asked. Kaka was scared to death to tell him the truth. Wrong thoughts came in his mind. "Woh maharishi ji bhog...." "Ji bhog ka kya hua?" he asked. "Humari bahu ne bhog..." before kaka could say a word more bondita quickly interrupted . "Bhog...kaka sasurji aapne bataya nahi kaha rakhu." Kaka took a breathe of relief.
Everything was peacefully carried out later. Maharishi ji and his all students were served lunch along with kheer. And now it was the time for Maharishi's exit.
"Bahu aashirwaad lo." kaka ordered. Bondita took blessings. "Swabhagywati bava." Maharishi offered her a silver coin.
She looked at kaka for permission. "Arey bahu, aashirwaad hai rakh lo." Maharishi said. She took it. "Vese Annapurna hai bahu aapki. kya Svaadisht thi kheer."he said. Kaka grinned happily.
"Ab hame chalna chahiye." Maharishi said and walked upto the door. "Trilochan babu aapne hume Jo janm patri dekhai thi na aapke bade bete ki." "Ji Anirudh ki." kaka said. "Mere ganana ke hi sabse unn par koi mushibat aane wali hai. Satark rahiye ga." he advised. "Kya?? Iss mushibat ko door karne ka koi toh upaay hoga na." kaka asked. "Mere hisaab se unhe khud hi ladna hoga iss se.Chalta hu. "Maharishi said. Maharishi's words were making kaka fear for future.
AT NIGHT:-
Bondita knocked on the door of study.
" Kuch chahiye tha?" Anirudh asked. She forwarded him the kheer. "Aapko pasand aayi thi na." she said. "Ha bahut aachi bani hai kheer. Par bondita ko kese pata chala?" he asked. "Aapko mitha pasand hai. Aur aapko jab kuch pasand aa jaye toh aap usse sabse aant mein khate hai."Bondita shyly answered him. Anirudh was impressed the way she knows little details about him shows how much she cares.
"Dhanywaad aaj mera saath dene ke liye. Agar aap aaj sahi waqt par nahi aate toh meri va jese kaka ki naak kut jati. Koi kabhi mujhpe bharosa nahi karta." Bondita told him. "Aapka saath dene ka vada kiya hai meine. Hum Roy Chaudhary juban se mukarte hai kya?" he convinced her. She smiled . "Raat bohot ho gayi hai. Soh jaiye." and she took off to her bedroom.
