[ San ]

I quickly dial Hongjoong's number. He picks up after a few rings.

" Hey bro, what's up? ", Hongjoong asks subtly.

" Y-Yeosang I saw him with his colleague. H-how did he know I was here? ", I say, stuttering.

Wooyoung and I kinda confessed to each other, not really, but yes. Things were finally going well and this shit is happening.

What will happen if Wooyoung gets to know I'm the most wanted criminal in Korea? Will he still stay with me? Will he able to accept me the way I am?

I don't know, but for now, I need to protect myself and Wooyoung, because he could be in danger as well.

" I don't know how he got to know where you are. Maybe Hyunjin's dad was keeping tabs on you or something and he might have given the police information. "

" Oh my God. What am I gonna do now, hyung? At this rate, he can definitely catch me and I don't want that to happen. ", I reply, sighing as I anxiously keep tapping my feet.

" There's only one thing we can do. You need to move away from there. I don't even think you can stay anywhere in Asia. I have friends in Europe, you can maybe try to go there. ", Hongjoong suggests. His voice somehow seems to be stable while I'm shaking here on the other side.

" What?! No, I can't move. I'm finally settling here. Things with Wooyoung were finally getting better. I'm sorry hyung, but I refuse to leave Japan. ", I shout.

I cannot leave Wooyoung here alone when Yeosang is around Japan trying to find me. It would be to dangerous.

" You have no other choice, San. Listen to me, please. I will arrange everything for you. All you have to do is leave. ", Hongjoong advises, his voice sounding concerned. " Wait, Seonghwa wants to talk to you ", he says.

" SAN, WHAT ARE YOU DOING? ARE YOU OKAY? DO YOU KNOW HOW DANGEROUS IT IS THAT YEOSANG WAS SO CLOSE TO CATCHING YOU AND PUTTING YOU IN JAIL! PLEASE LISTEN TO HONGJOONG AND GO TO EUROPE. WE NEED TO DO ALL WE CAN TO KEEP YOU SAFE. ", he shouts into the phone.

I know that he's concerned but there's no way I'm leaving Wooyoung. 

" Hwa Hyung, please calm down. I escaped with Wooyoung. I'm safe. I don't think Yeosang noticed me. Please don't worry too much. ", I answer, reassuring him that I was okay.

" Wooyoung? You have only known him, for what, three weeks? You guys barely know each other. San, this is the not the time to play around. Please be serious and listen to Hongjoong. ", Seonghwa says, sounding angry and taken aback by what I had just said.

" How do you know that? What we have is real. I know that for sure. I agree that we still don't know each other completely but getting to know someone takes time and we will slowly progress towards it. Hyung, I'm staying. That's final. I'm not leaving Wooyoung. ", I retorted, hoping that he would agree.

" San, you're the only family I have. I cannot imagine losing you. I can't handle that. We have done pretty bad things, I know, but I wish I could take the punishment instead of you so that my younger brother would not have to face all these hardships. You have so much more to overcome in life and I want you to live your life to the fullest even if it means that I go to jail for you. ", he says, clearly sounding as if he was sobbing.

" I promise you that we will get through this together. Just trust in me, okay? ", I say, trying to hold back the tears forming in my eyes.

" Okay. I love you, San. So much. I hope you know that, bye and take care of yourself. ", he finishes.

" I love you too, hyung, bye. "

I feel someone tap my shoulder and I turn around to face Wooyoung.

" Who were you talking to on the phone? " he questions, smiling at me.

" My brother... ", I tell him.

" Are you okay? You look like you need a hug. "

" Yeah... a hug would help... "

He hugs me tightly. His warmth surrounds my body, as I hug him tighter. I feel like I want to just pause this moment and keep hugging him for the rest of my life.

I never want to let go of him.
