" I know this isn't much, but I tried my best. ", he says nervously, not wanting to make eye contact with me. I look around the place, taking in the beautiful environment.

Wooyoung had secretly setup a romantic dinner for the two of us on the rooftop of his home. He had decorated the whole place with dim fairy lights, making the atmosphere perfect for the mood.

In the center of it all, a table was placed, with two chairs opposite to each other. It was decorated with rose petals and incense candles. There were food platters that were kept closed and a bottle of what seemed like expensive champagne.

The sight was too overwhelming and to think Wooyoung had done all this, just for me? Just for the sake of a simple date?

Wooyoung was amazing.

" Y-you did all this..... by yourself? "

" Uhh, yeah. Took me the whole day actually. I just wanted this to be extra special for you. ", he says, scratching the back of his neck, nervously.

" You didn't have to go to such extent, Woo. I would've been fine with a simple dinner. ", I tell him, but he shakes his head in disapproval.

Wooyoung walks closer to me and cups my cheeks with his hands. " My Sannie deserves only the best and I am willing to give that to him. "

A warm feeling in my heart breaks out as I lean forward and press a chaste kiss on to his lips, pulling away to give him a wide smile. " I'm so glad to have you. "

" So am I. ", he returns the smile and gestures me to take a seat, while he does the same. Wooyoung opens the food trays and displays a variety of delicious dishes. " I got some help from Yunho because I'm not such a good cook myself, but I hope you like them! "

I laugh, as I take a bite of what seemed like sautéed mushrooms. It tasted not like something out of a fancy restaurant but it was just right for my pallette. Wooyoung looks at my face for some sort of reaction, so I nod and give him a thumbs up.

" It's pretty tasty. Just to my liking. ", I say as I watch his smile grow wider. Wooyoung starts eating as well, as I poured us each a cup of champagne.

We ate in silence, enjoying the view and each other's company. All though there were no words said, we knew exactly what our eyes were conveying.

Once we were done with our meal, Wooyoung and I sat and watched the stars in the sky. While he was watching the stars with interest, I was thinking about something else.

Should I pop the question?

Should I... ask him to become my boyfriend?

We act like we're in a relationship but none of us have made it official yet. We've known each for over a month now, ever since we first met at the airport.

This was probably the best time to ask him, but... what if he turns it down? What he doesn't want to label our relationship yet? What if... he's not ready for this type of commitment?

Well, I don't think I've got anything to lose if he says 'no'. We'll just go back to being the same as before and I could just wait until he's ready.

San, do it. Go for it.

" Wooyoung. "

" Hmm? Something wrong? ", he questions and I shake my head.

" No no, I just wanted to ask you something. "

" Ok, go ahead. ", he says turning his chair fully so that he could face me.

" Woo. ", I take a deep breath,  " Will you be my boyfriend? "

I expect him to be shocked, instead he just gives me a small smile, like he knew this was going to happen.

" I'm glad you asked. What took you so long, San? "

" I wasn't sure if you were ready for it. "

" Well, Sannie. ", he grabs both of my hands and places gentle kisses on to them, " I would love to be your boyfriend. "

Upon hearing those words, my heart flutters and I feel butterflies swarming my stomach. I lean closer to Wooyoung and I hold his face gently, as I press my lips against his.

I feel Wooyoung smile into the kiss, which makes me pull him closer to me as I deepen the kiss. We pull away for air after some time and we continue to watch the stars in silence.
