Chapter 29: Devil in the Palace

Y/N's POV

...

I messed up today, I didn't know she's his mother, even Sunny doesn't know it. Me and Sunny tried to apologize to her but she didn't accept it but instead she spilled the remaining chocolate syrup on my face and if Prince Jimin wasn't there Sunny could have probably received another slap from her. Surprisingly, Prince Jimin covered her and received the slap from his mother that really shocked us all especially his mother.

The way her eyes widened in shock clearly tells that what his son have done was the first time.

Prince Jimin didn't talk nor spare a glance at her and pulled me and Sunny up here in his room ignoring his mother calling his name.

"Aw."

Sunny's faint voice pulled me out of my thoughts and looked at them.

Her timidly sitting on the edge of the bed with Prince Jimin sitting beside her treating her wounded arm carefully.

Yes, he did it. Sunny tried to refuse it but he insisted totally looked serious that left her no choice but to agree.

As for me, i'm sitting on the chair beside his closet distancing myself away a bit from them.

I don't want to be a third wheel so I just simply took this spot here and stay quite while wiping the remaining droplets of water on my face as i've just washed it. I still smell like chocolate.

"I'm sorry." He mumbled softly and blew the wound causing Sunny to blush and snapped her head towards me, I quickly turn my head and attention to the yellow small puppy plushy on Prince Jimin's study desk that he and Jin brought yesterday.

She would feel more timid if she'll caught me looking at them. i'm just helping you know.

Wait...

Jin!

"Shit." I stood up from the chair almost knocking it, getting the attention of the two.

"What's wrong?" Jimin asked with a frown of concern same as Sunny.

"I forgot Jin is waiting."

"Well, go ahead then." Jimin shrugs his shoulder and I looked at Sunny who's eyes are pleading for me to stay.

Poor sunshine, but I think I should give them a time alone.

"Okay, but I think Sunny should also come with me." I pointed at Sunny's arm and he shook his head.

"No, I'll take care of her. Go to Jin hyung now, he must be probably looking for you right now." He said and with that I sprinted out of the room after throwing the towel on my hand that landed on Jimin's face.

"Yah!"

Running back to his room, I halted as I passed by at the hallway, there I saw Jin and his aunt from afar near the entrance to the garden.

Uh oh. Did he know now what happened between me and his aunt lately? I think I should just wait for him at his room and get myself ready. I thought quickly turning around--

"Y/n!"

Shit!

I hear his footsteps coming near to me until he stood in front. I nervously looked up only to be met by a smile.

"Jagi, where were you? I've been looking for you." He softly chuckled hanging his arm on my shoulder "I'd like you to meet my aunt." He whispered turning me around as he pull me towards his aunt who's now wearing the most innocent smile like she have never committed sins before or even kill a single fly.
