Memories (Dazai x reader)

It's been two years since Dazai, your past coworker, left Port Mafia. But no matter how long time it was since your last talk, you still couldn't stop thinking about him. Even if you were not really the kind of person to admit it, you wanted these good old days to be back. You wanted to work with him again, teaming while beating somebody's ass up and then making fun of that, being teased by him and tease him back...

You still remembered all those beautiful days with him. You couldn't understand, how your world got so dark when he left. Without him you felt so empty. No matter what could happen around you, something just felt wrong as if a part of you was missing.

You were sitting in a train station, waiting for a train, your eyes not leaving a man standing in the middle of rail. 1 minute... 5 minutes.... 10 minutes..... but he still kept standing there. You didn't see his face, but something about the way he stood there waiting for train to hit him suddenly reminded you of something, which happened right in the moment you heard the train coming.

It's been such a long time. Two years. You couldn't believe he was here. But train was about to hit him. He didn't really seem to care, even when some man yelled at him to get out of there. You shook your head and ran to him as fast as possible, right before the train could hit him, you jumped at him and made him move away and avoid it.

You fell right onto him and pinned him to the ground, saying ,.Why the fuck were you standing there, dumbass?" Then, as he opened his eyes so you could see them, you suddenly felt like you have the part of you that was missing for so long time, back. ,,Dazai" you whispered his name without realising it. ,,Isn't it obvious? I wanted to commit a clear and beautiful suicide. But you appeared here and fucked it up." ,,So still a suicide maniac? You didn't change at all?" You had to giggle. Without understanding it, you simply felt good. ,,Still a Port Mafia's dog? You think you changed a bit?" You both laughed as you went away from rail.

,,I... I missed you." You said out of nothing. Dazai seemed a bit surprised to hear such thing from you, but after all everything he said was ,,Me too." And smiled. You finally realised how much you missed him, his smile, his eyes, his stupid jokes... how could you even survive these two years without him?
