GIBBS' POV:

I was waiting for an update when Torres called me.
"Torres!"
"So, she has a lung condition she needs at least one new lung, I'm on my way to do the tests. Can you ask for her family to come please?"
"Woaw, slow down! She is on the transplant list?"
"Yes but it's not enough I'm willing to give her one of my lung."
"Torres I know you love her but-"
"No it's not to much Gibbs. I can't live knowing that I could've save her."
"Okay, her family is already on their way they'll be here tomorrow. Can we come?"
"Yes, bye."
"Bye."

"McGee, text the team we're going to the hospital."
"Is she okay?"
"No... but she'll be okay."
"Okay..."

We went to the hospital. Ellie was asleep and Nick was looking at her, he wanted to hug her so she's safe. But he knew he couldn't protect her from this.
"Hi guys." Torres said coming out of her room.
"Hi." We all said.
"So? You're a match?"
"I don't know yet. I'll know tomorrow."
"How is she holding up?" Asked Jack.
"Uh- I don't know, we didn't really talk she was asleep when I came back."
"I'll talk to her when she wakes up."
"Okay."
"And you? How are you holding up?" Continued Jack.
"I'm not the one who can die any minute so I'm fine."
"I know but giving your lung is a big thing to do. You're gonna have a-"
"Long time recovery I know. I don't care I just need her to live Jack."
"She'll live. She will go through this."
"Not if she doesn't have working lungs."
"I know... you can talk to me if you need to."
"I know thanks."

SLOANE'S POV:

I went in Ellie's room waiting for her to wake up.
"Hi Ellie." I said once she woke up.
"Jack?"
"Yes I'm here to talk."
"Ok I see."
"So, how are you taking the news?"
"Well, I can die any moment, my boyfriend is litteraly willing to give me one of his lung, I'm not gonna work any-"
"Wait, you and Nick?"
"Oh, yeah."
"How do you feel about that?"
"I'm so freaking scared that I'll hurt him by dying."
"You're not gonna die Ellie."
"I hope so. But I'm not gonna work either."
"Yeah I know but hopefully you'll have a lung soon."
"Yeah..."
