chapter 18

Tsumugi walked into school, a nervous feeling hit her hard in the chest.

The hallways were empty as the final school bell rung only a few seconds ago, everyone feeling so determined to leave the school and kiss it goodbye on the ass.

The last day of school for them all were awful, kokichi got arrested and taken as some sort of 'killer'.
But deep, deep, deep down. Did anyone know Kokichi for his true nature?
Maybe shuichi? Maybe no one?

The only one who would know that answer was none other then Kokichi himself. It was the only explanation.....

Tsumugi walked across the halls, looking around for something before spotting specks of bloody puddles on the floor.
With widened eyes of fear and dread, Tsumugi pushed herself into following the trail and try to uncover it's dark secrets.
She followed as she tried to bring courage into her heart as she was leaded all the way to the gymnasium.
Her hands shaken, she carefully moved her hands to the gym entrance.

"Tsumugi! Don't! You'll be fallen right to the killer's trap!" She heard someone yell, turning around to see shuichi, Junko and Mukuro.

"Huh? Why?" Tsumugi asked, Junko showed her a journal.

"Kokichi never was the killer, see! This murder took place a few hours after kokichi's arrest. Kokichi had no way of doing that." Mukuro explained as Junko kicked down the gym door, all eyes gazed upon what they see before them.

The body of Ryoma layed on a wooden chair, his blood dripping from his head and hitting the ground with the sound of silence.
Bodies were everywhere, blood splattered and scattered from one corner to the next.

"W-what is this?!" Mukuro said.

"W-wait! Only Mr Kwuata has the keys to this! D-does this mean.... He's the one behind it all?!" Tsumugi asked, fear almost dragging her down.

"Come on! Of it is him, then he'll be going after Kokichi!" Junko said as the four dashed out of the gym.

"Wait! Where are we going now!?!" Tsumugi asked.

"We're getting Kokichi out of the prison! Who knows who he'll go after next!" Mukuro said as the four got into mukuro's car, driving off quickly.

"Junko, go on my phone and go on the contacts then press the one named 'Head of Prison, piece of sh*t'" Mukuro asked, Junko quickly done it and placed it on speaker.

"Hello Mukuro! Need anything?" The head coming out of the phone.

"Kokichi isn't the killer! We think we know who it is! We think it's-"

"Huh? Hold on- wait what!?! What are you- argh!"

"Officer!?!" Mukuro said as the phone call somehow ended, Mukuro made the car speed go faster.

"What's going on?" Shuichi asked.

"Someone's in the station! It could be Leon!" Mukuro shouted, Junko and the other two remained silent as Mukuro drove the car as fast as she could.

Junko and Mukuro kicked the doors open, hoping it wasn't too late.
Two police bodies were discovered at the entrance.

"Oh god! Please say Kokichi is still alive..." Tsumugi said as the four slowly made their way around the prison, Mukuro kept her knife and gun on her just in case of any prisoners try to attack them.

"Just keep an eye out, for Kokichi he could be anywhere here. Remember this is a prison for the insane and killers or even physcho ones, just be safe." Junko said, the other three nodded as Mukuro took lead as they continued to go deeper into the prison.

Police bodies and prisoner bodies scattered everywhere they looked or turned to go, no sign of kokichi was found though.

"Are we even sure kokichi didn't escape?" Tsumugi asked, shuichi sighed.

"Kokichi, when scared would always hide where danger is more seen. Maybe-" shuichi said before hearing a high pitch screaming echo throughout the halls.

"Who was that?...." Tsumugi asked.

"That's kokichi!" Mukuro said as she charged the way the scream came from, the other three following sharply behind her.

"How would you know Kokichi would scream like that!?" Junko asked annoyedly.

"When I covered his science class, he screamed that loud when someone accidentally exploded their experiment equipment." Mukuro answered as the four came upon the sight of kokichi being held up with a mysterious person's hand holding him by his neck.

"Hey! Let him go!" Shuichi shouted, grabbing the person's attention.

"Oh, is it over? Oh well." The person said as he dropped kokichi back down, kokichi coughing and gently grabbing his neck.

The mysterious person dropped down their hood to only reveal...........
