The Boyfriend

(THIS IS A PARLEY FIC. TONY IS PETER'S ADOPTIVE DAD)

Peter was playing online games with a few of his friends. Once they had all logged off peter decided to go onto the public servers... that's where he met HIM...

Harley Keener the two of them hit it off immediately. They had very similar interests such as science and inventing no wonder the two became friends instantly. it wasn't until their first face time call where Peter started to develop a crush on the southern boy. 

The minute the camera turned on and Peter saw HIS face Peter immediately turned bright red and suddenly forgot how to function like a regular human being. He stumbled over all his words and could barely even focus on the game that they were playing together as all he wanted to do was stare at Harley's perfectly structure face. 

'Peter, Earth to Peter.... YO PARKER!' Harley yelled though his mic startling Peter.

's-sorry I um was a bit.. um.. distracted' Peter replied once again stumbling over his words. 

'Yeah I kinda gathered that, so Parker, what's got you so distracted them hmmm' Harley questioned propping his head up with his arms in the classic cute position.

'Well um.... i uh.... wellikindalikeyouandidontreallyknowhowtotellyouandumyeahthatsitiguess' Peter spoke rapidly

'WOAHH slow down Peter, I barley heard a word of that, take a deep breath and repeat it okay?'

'Okay fine but promise me you wont hate me after I say it?' Harley nodded at Peter to continue 'Okay...so...basically... I like you... like... like you like you, and um... I know you're probably gonna hate me now but I just had to tell you so um yeah... that's why I've been distracted.' Peter finished staring into the camera

Harley burst out laughing 'OMG Peter I like you too, I was literally so scared to tell you'

'Wait... really' Peter said perking up, Harley just nodded, and that's when PARLEY was formed. The boys facetimed one another almost every day, apart from during school hours. Peter told his father about his boyfriend and was very supportive saying that as long as they love one another he doesn't care what gender Peter dated.

After a couple months they finally decided that they wanted to meet in person. 'So um... Harley... I was wondering if you maybe wanted to come to New York for a couple of days seen as its spring break. I've already spoken to my dad about it and he says he's fine with it and he really wants to meet you'

'OMG PETER I WOULD LOVE THAT!' Harley yelled in excitement. The boys were so excited that they ended up staying on the call for over 12 hours until Peter had to leave to do some 'duties' which Harley found a bit strange but didn't question it.

~TIME SKIP~

Today was the day.... Harley was actually coming to New York.

Peter could barely function, he was stood pacing at the arrival section in the airport just waiting for Harley. he just kept thinking 'What if he doesn't actually like me? what if he decides to leave? what if he's not comfortable meeting my parents?' But all of that overthinking ended when Peter saw HIM..... everything seemed to slow down when the two of them made eye contact.

it was as if nothing around them even existed. Peter started running towards Harley and vice versa. The two collided in the biggest hug anyone could imagine giving, almost falling to the floor people around them stared but they didn't all that mattered to them was that they are finally together.

once the two boys had their moment they headed out of the airport and into the nearest taxi. Peter told the driver the address causing the taxi driver to look confused but didn't question it and started driving.

Peter and Harley talked for the entire journey it wasn't until they reached the location that Harley suddenly fell silent. 'Um... Peter, what are we doing at stark tower?' he questioned

'You'll see' Peter said with a sly smirk. The two of them made their way to the entrance of the tower and over to the reception desk. 'Hey Nikki can I get the Visitor pass i told you about yesterday' Peter asked the receptionist

'Of course Peter, you must be Harley, Pete's told me a lot about you' Nikki said handing Peter a visitors pass for Harley.

'Thanks Nikki' Peter shouted as they walked away. Peter showed Harley how to scan his pass and they made their way to the elevator. 

'Soooo are you gonna tell me why were at Stark Tower now orrrrr' Harley asked

'you'll seeeeeeee' Peter said once again just as the elevator door chimed. 'Dad im home!' Peter exclaimed. Just as peter said that, Tony Stark walked from around the corner and froze in shock at who he saw next to peter.

'Keener?' Tony said

'Stark' Harley replied

'No, nope, nuh uh you are not dating my son, get out.' Tony stated

'um... what's going on?' Peter asked confused as to why his dad and Harley seemed to know one another.

'Me and your dad kinda met along time ago, long story short, I helped him, he helped me, I almost got him killed, that's that.' Harley said

'WHAT! why did you never tell me that?'

'Well you didn't tell me TONY STARK was your father!' 

'okay true but still, Dad why don't you want me to date Harley'

'He's a player Peter, he sees what he wants, goes for it, and when he doesn't like it anymore, leaves without saying a word' Tony stated

'He's not like that, you don't even know him the way I do, come on Harley lets head out for a bit so this arsehole can get a grip.' Peter stated dragging Harley out of the Penthouse and back out onto the streets on New York

'I'm sorry about him, He doens't normally act like that, lets just go around town for a bit, see some sights and go back later' Peter said to Harley

'Okay that sounds good I just have one question though, why didn't you tell me who your father was?'

'Well every time I tell someone who my father is I get 1 of 2 reactions. 1) they say im lying and then hate me. 2) they just pretend to like me to get money and closer to my dad. and because I liked you so much I didn't want either of those things happening with you so I just didn't say anything' Peter replied

'Oh Peter, I could never hate you, I love you too much to hate you' Harley stated looking into Peters eyes

'I love you too Harls' Peter stated, the two leaned in for a short kiss before moving quickly on to continue with their day

~TIME SKIP~

After Peter and Harley spent the whole day together it was nearing midnight, they decided it was about time to head back to the tower. 'Now if he says anything just ignore him okay' Peter said to Harley talking about his dad Harley nodded and the doors to the elevator opened.

as soon as the two stepped out of the elevator Tony spoke 'Can I talk with you boys for a moment'

'What you gonna yell again' Peter said

'No I just want to talk okay' Tony said walking towards the couches, the two boys following. 'Right so I want to apologise for how I was acting earlier, stressful day of work and everything. Peter, Harley, im glad you have found one another and you both seem to really love one another so I fully support your relationship, but if my son EVER comes home to me crying because of you, you're dead keener, understood' The two boys nodded Harley looking slightly scared but happy that they have Tony's approval

After talking for awhile the two boys headed off to Peters room to get some much needed rest before enjoying the rest of their week together...
