Careers Fair...

(we back at it again I guess... its been a while...)

It was just an ordinary day for Peter; He was hanging out with MJ and Ned at the end of their science lesson when all of a sudden the teacher announced...

'Class, on Monday is the careers fair, make sure you ask your parents/guardians to come in and talk about their job... it is part of your final grade so unless you have a reasonable reason as to why your chosen person is unable to attend you will lose marks on this module'

Shit Peter thought who can i bring that wont make a huge scene...

'Peter i can practically see your thoughts with the look on your face, I'm sure you'll find someone, why not just ask your Aunt May?' MJ stated

'MJ, May is on vacation with Happy remember' Ned reminded her

'Oh yeah, sorry Pete, my bad'

'It's okay MJ, I forget she's away sometimes, I've spent so much time at the tower with everyone... I'm constantly surround by distractions... but this still doesn't solve my issue... for now I'm just not going to say anything, I've got the whole weekend to figure something out...'

Little did Peter know... Mr. Stark had received an email about said 'careers fair' and already had a plan...

it was now Sunday evening... the night before the careers fair and Peter still had no idea what he was going to do...

Maybe he should just ask Mr. Stark... no-one believes him about the internship anyway... but Peters not that guy to flaunt about who he knows... he avoids it at every opportunity

Maybe he should ask Pepper. She's less embarrassing at least. but he does call her mom...

Any of the other avengers are out of the question as most of them are still MIA after the so called 'civil war'...

Colonel Rhodes would be good. I can't see anything wrong with Mr. Rhodes Peter thought to himself as he went through his list of people.

yup, that's it, I'm going to ask Mr. Rhodes, luckily he's downstairs doing some of his physio exercises...

Peter goes into the gym room where Rhodey is working on using his new prosthesis to help with his paralysis

'Hey Pete, What can I do ya for?' He asked

'Hey Mr Rhodes'

'Pete how many times... just call me Rhodey'

'right sorry... anyway... I have a careers fair tomorrow and I was wondering if you'd be able to come in and talk a bit about your job and what you do with the air force...'

'I'd be honoured Peter, thank you for asking. what time do I need to be at the school?'

'um... 11:00am I think lemme just message MJ.......... yup 11am'

'okay no worries I'll see you in the morning then Pete'

'Thanks Mr. Rhodes, you're the best'

~Time Skip~

'Hey Tony, your kid just asked me to go to his careers fair, you know anything about this thing?'

'HE WHAT! HE ASKED YOU! HES MY KID!'

'Whoa, whoa, calm down, he was probably just worried you'd embarrass him, and judging by the reaction I just witnessed, id think he'd be correct...'

'Embarrass him... me... never'

'Tony... we both know that's a fat lie... and we also both know that you have a plan to show up anyway because you probably received an email as you're currently his legal guardian'
