In Memory (Part 1)

~Start~

'Spider-mans name is Peter Parker'

'What the Fuck' Peter yelled, he turned to MJ, a hurt expression was on her face as she knew what he was about to do. 

'i'm sorry' Peter whispered before slinging his way back to his apartment.

As Peter crashed through the window he noticed May with tears streaming down her face, he immediately went up to her and engulfed her in a hug. 'i'm sorry Aunt May you know i've gotta do this. This was always the back up plan for if anything went wrong' Peter told her. she just nodded her head to upset to speak.

Peter rushed to gather all of his necessary things  before taking one last look at May 'I larb you' He spoke, 'I larb you too' May replied, and with that Peter was off.

~present~

That all occurred two weeks ago now but to Peter it felt like yesterday. He's been on the run ever since Beck had outed him. Each night he would cry himself to sleep about how hes failed as a hero, about how even though he saved the world he still managed to fuck it up.

after week 1 he finally took off the suite. he didn't want to take it off as he felt vulnerable but he finally caved in. he was strolling through a forest in upstate New York when he came across a cabin, with a lake next to it. 'This looks familiar' Peter thought to himself...

and then it hit him, 'This is Mr.Stark's cabin' He whispered to himself. His enhanced hearing picked up the sound of rustling bushes and then he saw a little girl pop out.

'Hi there Mr you look lost, follow me my mommy can help you, she helps a lot of people' and with that Peter was being dragged to the front door of the cabin.

The little girl opened the door and shouted 'Mommy, Mommy look, this boy needs your help he looks lost', a woman began to round the corner.

'Sweetie you can't bring random strangers into the ho...' She stopped mid sentence when she saw Peter standing there 'P-Peter'

'H-hello Mrs. Stark' he said quietly

'oh my gosh Peter' she said as she ran to give him a hug, Pepper had grown quite attached to the boy just as Tony had and thought of him like a son. Peter began to cry on Pepper shoulder.

'I messed up so bad, I-I don't know what to do anymore' He said to her

'Oh Peter everything will be okay, I've been working with Fury to try and sort something out but no-one knew where you were to try and help you.' Pepper replied. They stayed hugging for a few more moments before they went and sat in the living room.

Pepper was just updating Peter on what had been going on when she asked him 'Peter why did you run away at first instinct? why didn't you go to someone for help?', 'Well its kind of a long story...'

~Flashback~

It was the day after Peter declined Tony's offer of becoming an Avenger. He had just got out of school when he saw Mr.Stark's car parked up in the pick up zone. He walked over to it and the tinted window rolled down. 'Hop in kid' Mr.Stark said and Peter didn't hesitate to get in the car.
