AUTHOR'S NOTE: I just want to thank you all for reading this book and waiting so patiently for the next chapter! Life has been pretty busy so this was put on the backburner for a bit. Thank you all and I hope that you enjoy!

I throw the parchment aside and slump back into the chair. Silas and I have been in the library studying for a little over two hours.

"I am so done with this class." Silas groans out, rubbing his eyes with his hands.

I can't help but chuckle, "Divination will get easier for you. Just keep studying."

His eyes look at me pleadingly. "Why don't you just take the class for me?"

I scoff, "No way, Weasel-boy." I toss my quill his way. It lands just mere inches away from him. He picks it up and throws it back towards me.

This time I pick it up and place it in my satchel. "Are we going to meet the others out by the lake?"

He nods, gathering up his own stuff. "Yeah and we better hurry before Riley gets after us for being late."

Our journey through the school is quiet. We pass by a group of Ravenclaws at the front doors. My curiosity peaks as I hear my name being mentioned.

"Why do you think she's hanging out with Tom Riddle? She has to be up to something." One of the dark-haired boy's whispers to the group around him. The blonde girl beside him grabs his arm as she catches sight of Silas and I.

"It's not nice to talk about people." My voice sets the group on edge as I continue to pass by without blinking an eye.

Silas throws an arm around my shoulders as we walk out of the doors. "Well, that was something."

The smirk I throw his way gets him to smile. "Why are they so terrified of me?"

"Because the infamous Tom Riddle has accepted you into his group."

I roll my eyes, "If anything I didn't have a choice but to join his little group of miscreants."

The redhead laughs. My eyes wander around the scenery. The whole landscape is stunning. Rays of sunshine down onto the surface of the lake, reflecting it back.

"There they are," Silas mutters, "right by the tree over to the left."

I follow the direction of his finger. Under the shade of the trees, limbs sit Fleamont, Riley, and Helena. A smile tugs at the corner of my lips at the sight. Fleamont is leaning against the tree with his arms back behind his head while the girls are lounging on the stone bench beside him.

"Hello, friends!" The three startle at the sudden sound of my voice. I can't help but chuckle at their reactions.

Silas plops down on the ground next to Fleamont. "Good Godrick this ground is cold!"

I slip onto the bench beside the girls, "Well it is winter, Silas." I can't help the eye roll aimed at the boy when he sticks his tongue out my way.

"Well, the snow melted so I thought it would be warmer than this." The boy grumbles which I simply ignore and turn my attention to Riley and Helena.

"Do you two have any plans for Christmas?" My question causes Helena to light up.

"My parents are taking me to France over the break! Oh, I'm so excited about it. We'll be visiting my aunt and uncle in Rennes."

Riley takes her turn to speak as Helena daydreams about France. "I'll be spending it with my parents and grandparents in England. Nothing as exciting as France."
