Warning: Spoiler alert!
오모!...This drama is getting better and better every episode, because the story is becoming more and more interesting every week. It leaves us hanging on a cliff every Thursday night.
What do you think of Gyeo Eul's efforts of catching the abusive father of twins? Yes, she probably did that more to impress Jeong Won rather than in the name of justice, but still, she deserves to be acknowledged. Jeong Won's apathetic reaction to what Gyeo Eul just did is a turn off for most of us, and you cannot help but feel sorry for her. After this scene, I wanted to ask Gyeo Eul to get drunk with me because Jeong Won, obviously, is still planning on 'getting married' to the Lord, to his mother's dismay.
Speaking of Jeong Won's mother, Eomma Ro Sa, her closeness to Director Jong Su, her best friend of 65 years and current CEO of YULJE, is very noticeable in this episode. Especially during the Mafia Game scene, the two seniors bickering is so amusingly sweet. I am not implying anything, but I see something to look forward to.
The shipping game in this episode is in full blast! There is probably something in the hospital coffee (?), because suddenly the doctors are planning on confessing their feelings to someone. Ik Sun's friend (and crush?) Chi Hong confessed to Song Hwa, but is obviously rejected (well, it hurts, of course, but the truth is, that is what we want, because we prefer somebody else to end up with her.)😁Min Ha, on the other hand, is not even able to get close to Seuk Hyung because she comes at the moment when he and his father's mistress are having a conversation (disappointing, yes, and what a waste of coffee, too.)🙄But the romantic disappointment of the other characters of the drama is not imparted to Jun Wan. Just after two episodes, he unexpectedly confesses to Ik Sun while holding her hand (and yes! We all shrieked with pillows on our faces during that scene!)🥰Who would know that behind his rude personality, an indulgent playful romantic is hiding inside? (His chocoholicism gives this aspect of his personality away.) His plan on sneaking up behind Ik Sun is adorable, but unfortunately backfires. We are all in shock with him after that high kick that almost blows his head off, because Ik Jun fails to inform him that his sister had 15 total degrees of martial arts under her belt, (it is his fault anyway, he only asked for two.) Ik Jun's suppressed laughter upon knowing what happened are all felt and shared by us.
As for Ik Jun, we are all in the verge of tears during that crying family scene...but of course, Jung Suk's comedic timing is also a part of Ik Jun, we all laughed on how he himself suppressed his own tears. We are also getting a better glimpse of how popular and in demand he is. Having the actress Go Ara as his ex-girlfriend propelled his divorcé bachelor eligibility to the top. We want to see more of this aspect of Ik Jun's life, but let us be honest...we hope for a different outcome on this.😉
Song Hwa, the emotional pillar of the squad, seems to be experiencing an emotional pillar erosion. She is obviously diagnosed with something (breast cancer?), and we just have to wait and see from the proceeding episodes how she, the squad, and the other doctors will help her deal with it.🙄
Lastly, the playlist: Deep in the Night. An alternative LSS for Aloha. (Have you memorized them yet?) 😁 The background song (Beautiful My Love) when Jun Wan and Ik Sun held hands in front of the Toast Truck is also a good choice for your playlist.
The preview of episode 6 surely captivated us to the point of teleporting to next Thursday!😂
Rating: Dare someone ask? You know it....👍🥰
