3| pretty best friend
taehyung cried, getting pushed into a small room, only a bed visible in the center. lying on the ground, he looks to the door with gritted teeth, tear stained cheeks as he glared to the male standing in the door frame.
"you'll stay here till i know what to do with you." jeongguk spoke coldly, unbothered.
"what will you do to me? will you kill me too? i've done nothing!" taehyung spats, regretting it right after, when he felt a kick against his stomach.
he hissed by the pain. "i told you to not talk back to me." jeongguk growled, smashing the door shut, leaving the small boy covering on the cold floor. he limped to the door, hitting with his fists against it, crying out for help.
but who would help him?"hoseok hyung, tell me anything you can find about kim taehyung." jeongguk ordered. there are only a few people he calls by their names and he feels comfortable with. other than that, he cares about no one.
"who is this taehyung, gguk?" namjoon asked, when jeongguk exhaustingly leaned against the table, his head tilted back, eyes close. "that's what we want to find out. is yoongi here?"
"he must be here with jimin in a few minutes." seokjin explained and jeongguk nodded.
"kim taehyung..." hoseok mumbled, typing the name into the search bar. "have it!"
in curiosity, namjoon and seokjin went to look at the screen, an article about the searched boy open. "oh my, he's adorable!" jin squealed.
"damn, he's handsome." hoseok said, leaning back.
"he is pretty, isn't he?" the low voice of jeongguk made everyone look up in confusion and disbelief. he wasn't even looking at the screen.
"wh-who is he, jeongguk?" namjoon asked once again. jeongguk went around the table too, finally looking at the screen. a smug smile danced on his lips, seeing taehyung wear casual clothes and no princess-like bride dress.
"he's in one of the rooms in the basement." jeongguk said. "i brought him here, he saw me kill someone."
seokjin looked at him with wide eyes. "then why is he in a cellar in the basement?? he did nothing!"
jeongguk only rolled his eyes, crossing his arms. "hope, read some information out."
hoseok complied. "kim taehyung is the son of the well-known owner of 'kim-connections', kim hesung. with only 20 years, he is going to be the new owner of the company-"
"cut it out, tell me something about him, which has nothing to do with the publicity." jeongguk ordered and hoseok nodded.
"he mastered art major and can play the piano... here's even a video." hoseok clicked onto the video and everyone watched the fragile figure of the boy sitting on a stool, letting his slender finger gently do magic with the piano. it was just beautiful.
"he's amazing." namjoon said and seokjin agreed with a 'hmm'.
jeongguk also couldn't deny how fascinated he was from the sounds the boy made, but he would never show it. "and he's supposed to take over a whole company?"
"seems so." hoseok said, scrolling downwards and he gulped. "he was supposed to marry today." he then said, making everyone except jeongguk gasp.
"YOU DESTROYED HIS WEDDING DAY?!seokjin shouted, getting backhugged by namjoon who tried to hold him back from shutting the day lights out of jeongguk.
the youngest chuckled. "he ran away from his wedding." he said and seokjin stopped. "what?"
"when i met him, he was running away from a group of men. he needed help, i saved him." jeongguk told, shrugging and the others looked at him surprised.
"why would you save him?" namjoon asked, raising an eyebrow.
"i'm not that heartless." he said and the others laughed. "yeah, totally not. you are keeping him downstairs in the basement, where he is surrounded by criminals, gguk." hoseok said.
jeongguk sighed. "he had seen me kill someone, he'll tell it the police immediately." he said annoyed.
"i don't think he would." hoseok who was still scrolling through taehyung's files said. "he hates the police and had arranged a lot of protest marches. i'm surprised as the son of a ceo, i thought he would be really bigheaded, but he seems to be the complete opposite."
"kim taehyung, son of ceo kim, deliberately sent 1million dollar to kids without shelters..." namjoon read out.
"kim taehyung, korea's heart throb, most handsomest and kindest man on this world." was the next article.
"jeongguk what the fuck have you done, he doesn't belong here." seokjin said, but jeongguk only huffed in annoyance. "he'll stay here though, he could be useful."
"useful in which ways?" hoseok raised an eyebrow.
"my ways." jeongguk smirked.
that's when the door opened and the yoonmin couple entered, jimin laughing out loud at a joke that his boyfriend made. he actually was serious when he said he wants to rather be a rock.
"hey guys, what are you doing?" jimin then asked, skipping towards the males. jimin is the youngest and most soft of them, the complete opposite, but when it gets to fighting- the blonde is unbeatable.
"searching up jeongguk's princess." hoseok wiggled with his eyebrows and jeongguk only massaged his temple.
"what?! let us see." jimin said and grabbed yoongi's hand to drag him towards the others. but both of them immediately haltered, looking at the screen in shock.
"taehyung?" yoongi asked and jimin turned to look at jeongguk. "why are you searching for him?"
everyone was confused and jeongguk raised one eyebrow at the both males. "you know him?"
"he's our best friend!" jimin shouted and yoongi glared at jeongguk. "gguk, if you dare to hurt him..." he growled. he and jimin never wanted taehyung to get involved with their secret. they never told him who they really are and they also never mentioned him to any of the mafia members.
"wow, yoongi must have a soft spot for him." hoseok mocked, but regretted it right after when yoongi glared at him too.
"he's like a younger brother to me... why are you searching for him?" jeongguk smirked, while the others gave each other looks.
"what is going on, gguk?" jimin asked, voice worried, but eyes sharp.
jeongguk sighed. "he saw me kill someone-"
"how!" yoongi shouted, fists clenching.
jeongguk clicked his tongue. "he needed my help, i helped him, but then you gave me a mission and i had to take him with me, that's where he saw it."
"w-why did he need your help?" jimin asked, knitting his eyebrows. "he was getting followed by a few men. he ran away from his wedding."
"wedding?" yoongi asked bewildered, jimin looking the same.
jeongguk raised an eyebrow. "pretty best friend that you have there, didn't even tell you he was getting married." he chuckled.
"stop this shit, gguk." jin warned, glaring at the boy.
"oh my god, yoongi- bogum." jimin said and yoongi immediately understood and sighed. "i always hated taehyung's parents..."
"glad he didn't have to marry him, thank you gguk for saving him. did you bring him home?" jimin said relieved.
hoseok bit his lip, namjoon tried to avert his gaze from the yoonmin couple and seokjin scratched the back of his head, while jeongguk still had a smug face on.
yoongi looked to everyone and then to jeongguk, immediately understanding that there was something wrong.
"where is he?" he growled lowly and jeongguk only scoffed.
"he is here, in this building and he won't go anywhere else."
