"so this is actually happening then?" ana asked.

"yep" max replied.

"you boys always leave things so last minute" rio laughed.

"that's us" i smiled.

"when are we gonna go to central park?" dobby questioned.

"uhhh"

"ooo whoever is planning on going there i'm definitely in" katie said as she overheard our conversation.

i just hope she didn't hear the whole conversation.

"i guess now dobby" i gulped.

"ok then" dobby said nervously as katie sat next to him.

"i'll get my shoes then" max stuttered.

"why are you guys so nervous?" katie chuckled.

"we're not" i tried to cover up.

"where are taylor, libby and elisha?" katie asked as she noticed that her friends were missing.

"oh they went upstairs to use your hairbrush" dobby fooled.

"all three of them??" katie asked concerned.

"yeah" ana added.

"wait are you guys leaving now?" taylor asked as she walked down the stairs with libby and elisha.

"uhh yeah we are, you guys can join us if you want" max added.

"yeah! sure!" taylor seemed stressed as she quickly typed something on her phone.

"so guys did you manage to brush your hair?" i asked, meaning did they manage to persuade their parents to let them spend christmas in the UK.

"yep we all good" libby answered with a grin on her face.

"harvey you do know they're capable of brushing their own hair?" katie said confused.

"i know" i laughed.

"okay let's go, yeah?" elisha asked.

"yeah" max repeated.

max could tell i was worried.

max can sometimes be a pain.

but he can also be the most understanding person ever.

i can't imagine my life without a twin.

without max.

"why is harvey weirdly following me" katie said in a concerning tone.

"because he loves you and can't stand being apart from you" dobby added as they walked out of the door.

"he lasted 5 years without me,
i'm sure he'll live" katie mentioned.

"worst 5 years of my life" i mumbled.

"what did you say?" katie smiled and took her eyes off her phone screen to stare into mine.

"uhh nothing" i cheekily smirked.

"tell me"

"or what?"

"i am not fighting with you over this"

"we can fight over this later then"

"eww get a room" max teased.

"shut up max" i stated.

"you're all so dirty minded" katie said and she turned to face her screen again, as did i.

when we reached the bridge it was covered in fairy lights and lanterns.

safe to say that we managed to stall katie long enough.

"woah i've never seen it like this before" katie's face lit up as she approached the bridge.

"shoot your shot" max said inbetween coughs so it was hardly understandable.

"max i have a cough sweet if you need one" dobby added.

"good to know thank you dob" max replied as he cleared his throat.

ok now it's my chance.

i looked at taylor with a 'wtf' look on my face and thanked her.

katie was leaning over the side of the bridge looking at the water below.

the others had all walked off into the trees as i started approaching her.

i haven't even fully thought this through.

how do i ask her?

i mean it's not like i'm asking her to move in with me or anything.

"well taylor's mum did all of the work.. if i'm being honest it was all taylor's idea" i replied.

"awh why did she do this?" katie smiled.

"so i was thinking.." i paused.

"harv, you're seriously scaring me" katie was concerned.

"how do you feel about coming back to england for christmas?"

"really? to like spend christmas with you?" her face turned to a blush colour.

"well yeah obviously dumbass.. my mum is all okay with it.. but i'd totally understand if you didn't want to.."

"harvey.."

"i mean i get that this is so last minute so it's really okay if you don't want to come back with us-"

"harvey.."

"maybe it was a bit of a stupid idea."

"HARVEY"

i flinched at the sound of her screaming voice.

"harvey.. of course i'll come spend christmas with you" katie looked up at me as i picked her up to spin her around.

"hahaha put me down you lunatic!" she laughed as everyone else came back over.

"well i'm guessing that everything went well?" taylor smirked.

"you all knew about this?" katie pouted.

"yeah.. but it was harvey's idea to surprise you" libby smiled.

"oh shit how am i gonna ask my parents?" katie stressed.

"don't worry we'll all help you out, i mean she can't refuse our cute little faces" elisha grinned.
