Chapter 8

Julian POV

When I woke up, I had headache. I shouldn't drink that wine. I groan and get up. I saw Ruby and Basti sleeping on the floor and to my me. Basti's arms was wrapped around Ruby's waist, like he was scared to let her go.

Hmm, I wonder what's going on.

I stand up, carefully not kick Ruby or Basti. It was already too late, Ruby woke up and look at me.

"Jul?" She said softly. I smile.

"Hey mom" I said. She gave me a simple smile.

"Where you going?" She asks me.

"I was about to get water and pain reliever" I said. She nodded and stands up.

"Come on" She took my hand and we both walk to the kitchen, leaving Basti sleeping on the floor.

"Mom, what's going on between you and Basti?" I asks. She gave me a glass of water and two pain killers. She mention me to sit down.

"Yesterday, Manu and I got into a fight. I wanted us to take a vacation and go somewhere but he said he has practices and he just came back from Doha. I was mad so I started yelling at him and then I ended up here. Basti was the only one who can make me laugh and I think I love him as much as I love Manu" Mom said. I took her hands and put it in mine.

"YOU DON'T THINK I CAN'T MAKE YOU LAUGH!?" I yelled. Mom shush me up and laugh.

"Calm down baby! You going to wake up that donkey!" Mom said. I laugh.

"I made you laugh though" I pointed at my mouth. She chuckle. Mom touch my cheek and kiss it.

"I love you baby" Mom said. I smile brightly.

"I love you too Mom" I said and hug her.

"AND I LOVE ME TOO" Basti yelled. He scared the both of us.

"Basti!" Mom yelled. I pretended to cry like a baby. Ruby stroke my face, trying to calm me down.

"I'm sorry my little niece!" Basti said and ran to give me a hug but I quickly move so that Basti would fall into mom and kiss her cheek.

"Julian!" Mom yelled. I stuck my tongue.

"That's what you get for calling me niece! I'm your nephew! Not niece!" I said. Mom laugh and so did Basti.

"I still have no idea how you graduated high school" Mom shook her head. Basti stick his tongue out at her.

"Julian! Kick you uncle's ass for me!" Mom said. I nodded with pride. I quickly kick Basti butt and ran away. Mom ran behind me. We both got inside Basti's room and quickly went into his closet. I hold mom tight as she hold my head tight.

"This closet stinks! Did he even wash his clothes?" I gag. Mom closes my mouth as the bedroom door opens.

"Julian, Ruby? I know you're in here" I could tell he was smirking.

"You know the worst hiding spot is in THE CLOSET!" He open the door and we both started yelling.

"Ahhh!" He said and crush us.

"Basti get off of us!" I yelled. He laugh and did as I say.

"This closet is really stink! Don't you ever do laundry?" I asks. Basti chuckle.

"No" He said. Mom rolled her eyes and so did I.

"Ja, let's go watch a movie" Basti said. He walk to the living room with us walking behind him.

"Movie?" I asks.

"Olympus Has Fallen" Mom suggest. I nodded and wink at her. I click on the movie and it's starts playing. I lay my head on top of mom's laps while she sat next to Basti.

"Today is the best day" I said. I heard mom chuckle softly. Basti whisper something in mom's ear as she giggle.

"Shh" I said. Mom giggle one less time and then play with my hair. We all watch the movie in silence.

"He's cute" Mom said out of nowhere.

"Mom!" I said. Mom laugh.

"Sorry babe" She kisses me. I smile and continue watching the movie in silence...again.
