The accident Chapter 3

When I was in the car accident, my life was at risk. One movement of my neck and I would have died. It felt like Alex was there with me the hole time, like it was him being my garden angel. I cry every night not knowing when or how in going to heal completely, Alex hates talking bout the car reck. It kills him to know what he couldn't be there for, and that he can't help take care of me. it was scary I tell him on the phone, laying in bed in the sea collar.

"Are you alright tho?" He asked again.
"No" I reply just above a whisper.
He sighs. "Why must things like this happen when I'm not there to protect you!?"
I start crying again as the flash backs still play. he ask me to try to tell him what happened, but it hurts to much to speak.
"Paige....kitten please try to tell me what happend!? I must know!"
"We where trying to pass a car, they speed up, then we tried to pass the second car, they speed up, then the third they speed up."
"Please keep going? I want to understand what happened"
"Then we went over a hill, on coming traffic, first car swerves and misses us, second car....hit the drivers side. I don't know if I closed my eyes or blacked out."
"Kitten please keep telling me?" He bagged me to tell him what happened so he could understand he says.
"Next thing I know there is a pretty young lady standing next to the drivers door, she came over to me.. I tried to move my head, "no" she said looking at me. I didn't understand I was still crying it hurt to breath, my hands hurt, my face was numb, my sides and my back hurt, my neck was in so much pain it hurt to keep my head up." I started crying again, flash backs... it hurts!. "Then the ambulance got there.. They got me out of the car on a stretcher, then put me in the back. Vary nice people took care of me" I give a faint smile. "they put the I.V in..and they made me smile. It was a vary nice team. Then I got to the ER they got me in a room with no one I knew, then I asked for a family member...matt. he is there by my side in less then 3 mins. They go and have a cat scan done when mom gets there. the have put a bunch of pain meds and stuff in my IV."
"Oh My God." is all you hear from him. "Are you gonna be okay?"
"Yes tiger I will! The doctor is coming in I have to go... iloveyou!!!"
"Iloveyou to kitten text me when you can"
I hang up. the doctor is talking to mom so I text john.
"Where are you?"
"In the waiting room can I see you?"
"Yes!!!"
When he comes back I start crying.
I look at him with tear filled eyes. he looks at me "are you okay?"
"Yes I will be"
Mom is sitting there telling dad that I'm okay. the doctor comes in and says that I need to take it easy for the next few weeks. He says I'm free to go home and gives me meds to take home, and takes my IV out. omg it hurts so bad!!.
I fall asleep in the car, when we get home my grandma (mom) calls my bio mom and tells her what has happened. She calls me in to the bedroom I'm talking to her she starts crying. I tell her I'm gonna be okay and I say I'm gonna go to bed. I go and try to eat something my tummy feels so nauseated. I fall asleep not wanting to wake up.
